Anyways, today was my showing with the cows. I was really nervous about it and began lashing out at everyone, even the poor cows. I had to get up early in the morning to wash Phe and Gwyenn and then make sure until 10:40 AM that didn't sit in their own crap or none of the other cows crapped on them. xd (It's hard, trust me)
I was doing the best I could, and actaully none of that ever happened! Yay! biggrin
These are my awards:
Intermediate (grades 7-12th graders with me showing Gwyenn) : Second Place!
Intermediate (again this time w/ Pheonix) : Second Place
Fitting and Showmanship (Fitting: If the cow is clean, to put it shortly; Showmanship: the way you are presenting your animal and making sure it's in posture.) :
Showmanship: Third Place
Fitting: Fifth Place. (Well, the reason was that her Do-Claws had some stuff on it.)
The real reason (What I believe I got fifth place For) ? When it was two minutes to show my animal, my other member, Mikaylia, had her cow to show with me, Sydney. I was turning Phe away to go walk around since she was getting tired and if she stayed where she was she would lay down on the ground where she was. xd And getting a cow up is not very fun, since you ram your knee into their hip bone until it gets up.
Anyways, Sydney had to turn around to where Phe's head was turned and then I notcied what she was going to do. But sadly it was too late: Sydney just crapped all over my poor cows face. I was basically furious, since I was going to show my cow in Showmanship and Fitting. (The one the cow has to be clean for) I was running with Phe to the nearest hose and rinsed her face off.
Finally we went into the ring and the judge (for fitting) looks at Phe and says she's all wet. I just looked at her and said there was a little accident. Then She gets on the mic and says that I needed raise her head more and clean her do-claws more, not mentioning that her whole head was soaked at the time. xd
I am dreading Tuesday a lot more now (THANKS KATIE evil )
So that's really about it for now, except the little kids who keep coming up to the animals and mooing to them. The cos just look at them like the kids are stupid. xd
Yesterday, I was about to fall asleep on Pheonix, surprisingly, she let me. And she was really comfy. They just remind me of big dogs. xd
