Tim (or Timmo as he’s called when he’s older) tags along with his brother and meets Faylin, the young granddaughter of sensei Yuki, by his son Kaylan who was taken by Iesha, a vampire woman. She had silvery hair and gold eyes with dusky skin and was soon driven out of Raksekey family territory. She couldn’t stand up to them and the Tainted Cell’s operatives but she took Kaylan with her. She took him for much the same reasons the Count took Ellie. Only Kaylan didn’t have Ellie’s psi advantages. He did have a disciplined mind though due to 23 odd years of training.
Kemiki, his sister went after him when she was 16, 3 years later.
Kimeko, Yuki’s lover was devastated when Kemi returned 6 months later with Kaylan’s infant Dhampir daughter barely alive and with the news that both Kaylan and the vamp that took him were dead.
Kemi had left with a team of 6 of the best his school had and returned alone, sick of wound fever and horribly injured. She knew she didn’t have much time left and lived only long enough to get her niece and her brothers ashes to her father and safety. She never had the chance to tell them what happened.

They found out much later from the mutant Pangea, Jule’s Kyosian’s woman and the deputy head of his assassins’ school. She is the off spring of Iesha and Raksekey castle mutant Tycho. His appearance was quite human and he had in a lesser form the elemental powers his daughter possesses. Iesha stole him too, enthralling him and making him her slave. It’s part of what got her eventually driven out the Raksekey family territory.
Tycho was a captain in their mutant army and difficult to replace. He was also loyal to them. She couldn’t get enough control over him to force him to leave the territory and he was killed in the crossfire when she was driven out. One of the reasons she picked up Kaylan.
Gea was about 14 when he was killed and still serving her mother. Kaylan though, woke a hunger for an opportunity to fight for something she cared for in her, by his and then his sister’s actions. She helped Kemi and her baby ½ sister escape after Kemi’s presence had given her brother enough reason to summon his will and turn on his Mistress. Kemi helped in that battle too but it cost her hard. She would never have made it out without Gea’s protection as Iesha’s Manor House burned to the ground. Gea disappeared as soon as Kemi and Faylin were safe.
