your power is the strength of a tide
which drifts in
slow, gentle, easy
you are determined, absorbing
and i, like a ragged weed of the sea
pulling free to join you in your dance
to lie apon your waters
shared in your magnitism.
too late i realised your true nature
and was swallowed
sucked under. almost drowned
Yet now, i have found a firmplace to stand
will resist you,
battle you,
keep my face always to the shore
Because there is no life in what you offer
only death

that is just a poem that i found in a book...it has kinda stuck with me for a while now
