Aerlind Aear
By Meg
You’re a world of green blue.
You are loving,
You are murderous.
Your body spreads all around the world
Being pulled by her multi face,
Being pushed by earth’s silent grace.
When fire rises and sets
Your waters turn to firey depths.
You sing lullabies day and night,
You scream and yell to everyone’s fright.
We think you as a friend enemy,
We think you will never vanish.
But what we don’t know
Is that with every day,
Your free spirited soul passes away.
You put up a forceful front,
But when it falls we will look in
Your heart, and see you have been killed
By a greedy world of pollution.
Where someone as enchanting as you
Can’t stay free and pure of heart.
Where someone like you
Who can’t be created nor destroyed,
Is being locked away
By greedy hands day by day.
We see you race,
We see you win.
We see you fight,
We see you lose.
We see you day by day
But we never thank you,
For what you give away.
