Tia works out of Raksekey and now has a mob of ½ a dozen or more fosterlings etc running around the castle. When they grow up there are still more than a dozen and they just keep coming in.
There are special cases where the kids’ mental health depended on having a true parent to be stable and healthy. There are 8 of these so for and they are Afton (Has a mechanical knack and works on the Von K’s fleet of varied vehicles with flare and enjoyment) and little bro Benjamin (doesn’t like grease under his nails or the smell of it. He’s more at home behind a computer and so does most of the data entry for the work Afton does), Paul (becomes a chef teacher at Chef A and a well renowned food critic), Sherril (dies in an cart crash. She was gone before the resident healer could get to her, leaving behind her husband Leslin and a son, Shaun), Leslin (Married Sherril working as a brickie but was devastated by her death and married Marion who was always jealous of Sherril anyway. It still takes him a year or two until he’s halfway functional and is a bit startled to find himself married to Marion but relatively content none-the –less. He goes back to being a labourer. After all, he has a family to support.) Marion,(Marries Leslin after Sherril’s death and has four children to him. Andy, Daina, Debbie and Dan. Makes a living as a children’s writer. She raises his son the same as she raises the rest of the children though, with a firm hand) and sisters Sofia and Sonya. (Both of whom are taken by a rogue vampire and become sister wives. Von K operatives rescued them but have become accustomed to sharing a man and become wives of a young island prince. They volunteer to go to the island to check it out and soon caught the eye of the local priest prince. Once he discovered they were available he moved fast and the next thing they know they are married to him and baring his children-a dozen or so between them, though neither is head wife… or rather they share the position amicably. This amuses and bemuses their husband but he is content to leave things as is as it’s working.)
