They not as cool as they used to be. Don't get me wrong I still think they rock. But its the whole angst thing. One of the reasons they were so great before was because you could relate to what they were singing. They were very careful to keep it all very general though. One song can relate to a bunch of different situations. Now its more specific. Like the song Valentines Day. Its pretty obvious what that songs about. Luckily for me I have a very active mind. I'm always thinking of stuff and putting myself in different situations so the music still rocks to me. But also they're not as hardcore as they used to be. You could tell from just one listen that they were rock/hip hop hybrid. Now they are more just rock with some rap songs. The songs themselves are still cool but not hardcore. But I'm just hoping they don't turn into what Three Days Grace has. Their last CD "Three Days Grace" was rad! Now their songs only have like three different chords in each. Which isn't too cool. Is it just me or does it seem like their only fans now are 16 year old girls that live in the suburbs that think their lives have a lot of "drama" in them? haha! yeah. Not cool man. Not cool. Their stuff is kinda lame now. But I still have both those bands old CDs so I'll live. heh heh
