POISONED WITH GRIEF
Tears fell to the ground
In puddles of darkened pain
Look at this face
Poisoned with grief
What are these feelings I possess?
Past pain?
Red in stain
Insecure
Imagining the impossible
Seek the truth
Ignorantly blissful
Trapped in my own skin
Tearing at my mind
Speaking of my heart
Broken dreams
Lasting lies
Never losing sight of the darkness
