I'm the Death God, Ryuk, who comes from the Shinigami Realm. If you're familiar with Death Note, you already know how this all works and why I'm down here in the Human World. If not, go educate yourself with a Google Search.
I'm a pretty popular shinigami here on Gaia. At times, I get about 5 Friend Requests to 10+ Profile Comments a day. Now, all of this is fine and dandy and I encourage it. However, this can get me very confused and overwhelmed depending on how many interactions I receive, so here's a few things you should know:
1. Please don't expect me to comment you back right away or at all. I usually stray away from the random "hello" and/or "omg its Ryuk" comments, so try to tell or ask me something a bit more meaningful. (Giving me apples is always welcome. ;D)
2. Do not send me a PM saying "hello" and/or "omg its Ryuk". I'm well aware of who I am and though I'm happy you're saying hello, that's something you can include in a comment (refer to the structure in 1.) along with apples.
3. On the whole "overwhelmed" aspect, I might accidentally comment you more than once. I can get very mixed up, especially recently because all of my comments have practically been saying the same thing. Like mentioned in 1., try to give your comment a little more flavor. You'll be more noticed and unforgettable.
4. Friend Requests. I have no problem at all with anyone adding me, so please don't hesitate to do so. I accept any friend request. However, once I get to the 200 Maximum, I'm going to do a Cleaning. Any fellow Death Note cosplayers are safe from the sweep, but to everyone else: if you'd like to maintain a friendship with me here on Gaia, let me know you're alive. Gimmie and apple every now and then. I'll only get rid of people who don't interact with me.
And finally, 5. My locations? I'm most active in Towns, and I frequent the following types of topics:
-Any Death Note related topic (duh)
-Any cosplay related topic, even if it's another anime
-Enter Topic Here topics
-Gay/Bi/Sex/Cyber topics
-Random, crazy sounding topics
Forum-wise, I'm not very active. I stick to Kira Inc., mostly. Once in a while I'll make a quick post in the Chatterbox.
As for guilds, I've been accepted in to many and try to keep my activity going there. Click on my tab in my profile to see the guilds I am a part of.
