iUchiha Sakura: Hey Naruto.
iKyuubi Naruto: Hey Sakura.
*Sai shows up later*
iSai Hikaru: Hey guys.
iUchiha Sakura: Hey Sai.
iKyuubi Naruto: Hey Sai, what's up.
iSai Hikaru: Hey isn't the Konoha Memorial today?
iUchiha Sakura: Yeah everyone's going to be there.
iKyuubi Naruto: Yeah including Gaara and Kankuro.
iSai Hikaru: That means everyone thats going has someone important to them.
iUchiha Sakura: That's right.
iKyuubi Naruto: Yeah, we have our friends and you have us and your brother.
iSai Hikaru: Yeah..*looks at his book*
iUchiha Sakura: Are you ok Sai?
iKyuubi Naruto: Yeah is something wrong?
iSai Hikaru: I'm fine, I was just thinking about my brother.
iKyuubi Naruto: Are you sure?
iSai Hikaru: Yeah.
iUchiha Sakura: Guys it's about time we meet up with the rest of Konoha.
iKyuubi Naruto: Alright lets go, come on Sai.
iSai Hikaru: Ok.
*We go and meet up with the rest of the people of Konoha*
iKyuubi Naruto: Man it's been a long time since I've been here.
iUchiha Sakura: Yeah it has since we've all been here.
iKyuubi Naruto: Hey Shikamaru.
Shikamaru: Hey Naruto.
iKyuubi Naruto: Shikamaru, are you ok..?
*Shikamaru's voice starts to choke up*
Shikamaru: Man what a drag... there have been so many deaths and it's not just upsetting just you guys and me but everyone in Konoha. Asuma sensei...*Remembers Asuma, smokes a cigarette, and starts to cry*
Kakashi: The ceremony is starting.
*The ceremony begins and Tsunade starts to speak*
Tsunade: We are here today on this Memorial Day remembering of all of our shinobi and lives that we have lost.
*Everyone remembers all of the shinobi that we've lost and flashbacks showed up of The Third Hokage, Asuma, and Sasuke*
iKyuubi Naruto: People are supposed to become strong enough to protect the people who are important to you. *Thinks of the first people who acknowledged him*
Then why... why is it everytime that I've tried to save someone I have failed...
*Naruto has flashbacks of when he failed to save Sasuke and Gaara*
I couldn't save Sasuke and I couldn't save Gaara. It's because I'm...weak...*Naruto starts to cry*
*Gaara and Kankuro come and put their hands on Naruto's shoulders*
Gaara: Naruto, it's alright.. I know exactly how you feel. Losing people closest to you. I remember when I lost someone precious to me too at one time...
Kankuro: You ok Naruto?
iKyuubi Naruto: Yeah. I'm ok....
*Naruto stops crying*
*Naruto looks over at Konohamaru and watches him cry*
*Konohamaru has flashbacks of The Third Hokage and Asuma*
Konohamaru: Grandpa...Uncle Asuma...
*Sakura and Neji are standing next to a gravestone*
Sakura: Many of our shinobi sacraficed their lives and died because of it.
Neji: Our shinobi are fighting and going from pride to shame dying in vain...
Chouji: Yeah.. So many lives lost and all because of all of these wars we're having and trying to protect whats important to them.
Sakura: And we're all to blame..
Kakashi: Obito...Rin...*Kakashi has flashbacks of he, Obito, Rin, and Yondaime*
Jiraiya: Heh remembering your teammates and sensei?
Kakashi: Yeah...
Jiraiya: Yeah I was remembering when Tsunade, Orochimaru, The Third Hokage, and I were all team too. We're losing more and more of our shinobi more often.
iSai Hikaru: Sensei, what makes people so important to others?
Kakashi: Well Sai, it would be like if you lost Naruto, Sakura, Yamato, or me. Like how your brother's gone and how you care about him and us so much.
*Sai thinks of his brother and then Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato*
iSai Hikaru: I see, thanks sensei.
*Kakashi thinks in his mind*
Kakashi: (Looks like Sai is starting to learn more about friendship and those important to him.)
Tsunade: I know that everyone here has lost someone important in their lives. Everyone here has someone important that they've lost.We all risk our lives for everyone in this village because we're all like one giant family. I've seen you all grow and I know and can see that the Will of Fire burns in every single one of you.
Lee: Gai sensei...
Gai: Yes Lee it's true we risk our lives and we fight because of youth, friends, and to protect everything we care about. And it's also because the Will of Fire.
Lee: Gai sensei, I promise I will work even harder thanks to you.
Gai: I know lee, I know...
*Everyone stops crying and looks up*
Tsunade:You're all dismissed.
*Everyone leaves and Yamato Naruto Sakura and Sai are the last ones to leave*
Yamato: It's all thanks to them that this has all happened and that the village even exists. *Yamato turns to the Hokage faces and Naruto, Sakura, and Sai do too*
iKyuubi Naruto: Yeah Grandma Tsunade's right. Everyone risks their lives for those important to them, including me as well. My reason is my friends and I would risk my life for them. And I WILL bring Sasuke back. *Naruto thinks of all his friends*
