Incase you haven't heard by now, last Sunday, around 7:30 CDT. The deadliest Tornado Iowa has seen in 32 years ripped through Parkersburg and New Hartford, both of Butler County. In all, six people have been confirmed dead, with 222 houses, and 21 business building demolished. Last week was pretty severe for all. Around late thursday night till the very beginning of friday, Marshalltown (my town) itself was experiencing some problems of its own. We were under a tornado warning in Southern Marshall County. (Marshalltown in southeast..you do the math -_-) I didn't get a wink of sleep that night. For those who know me, will understand why. I'm DEATHLY afraid of storms. Especially at night. But this isn't about me. Please offer your prayers to the people of Parkersburg and New Hartford as they try to rebuild their towns. However, it'll take even longer for them to rebuild their lives.
