Just another lesson in how life never bores you if you're paying attention.
June 4, 08 Wednesday

I lose my sense of timing during the summer. I had to check a newspaper to find out what day it was. Ah, bliss. heart

I think today is the day I agreed to cover the aftermath of the wisdom tooth operation from last entry. Yeah, you hear some horror stories but the operation went perfectly. They gave me an ice pack to take down the swelling. Okay, so early that morning I took a mild pain releiver for the monthy cramps, then we went for the operation and I had laughing gas and Novocaine, afterward they gave me anti-biotics and my mom gave me a half of a small pain pill, and later the swelling was too much so my mom had to go get medicine for inflammation. I think that's my personal record for the most medication in a day. eek

The second day of the swelling was the worst day. I took all the medicines I'd been told to take and using the ice pack off and on, but it didn't do anything. I just had to put up with looking like a chipmunk for a while. My dad took a picture that day biggrin

On the third day the swollen cheek was at about 60% capacity, so I went over to my friend's house. That night I told my brother the ice packs weren't doing anything; he told me the 20-minutes-on-10-minutes-off system was for joints and that for this swelling I should leave an ice pack on for 2 hours straight. So that night I made another ice pack and fell asleep on it. And all was good.

My mouth is pretty much better now, but I still have the antibiotics for about 6 more days. I take three a day. Also, my medication made me feel like I had a fever sometimes.

Well, that wasn't much of a story, was it? There ya go. The exciting post-wisdom tooth extraction story.

Normally I love to ride my bike in the mornings, but it's cold and rainy today.

My dad owes me 28 dollars, I think. He takes awhile to pay, so I look for other jobs in the summer. The most likely job now for me is dog walker. I asked my mom if I could do a martial arts course or get a job this summer, and she said first I'd need to figure out how to get myself there, so I guess first up is learning to drive.

I dug up our old N64 and played Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on it. I love that game. But our controllers are wasted, which is why I wish I had the Gamecube version.

And now, in honor of Garrett, four 'moles'. domokun domokun domokun domokun
