So, yes, I've totally decided on cosplaying as Ema Skye one day. But Luke comes first!

In more important news...HOLY CRAP WE HAD A TORNADO WATCH TODAY AFTERSCHOOL. We were at the Young Democrats meeting and all of a sudden the lights went out. They came back on and we were rushed into an interior room. After a few more minutes we went downstairs and united with everyone else who was in the building and waited for the storm to pass.

I tried to get into contact with my mom, Alyssa, and my dad but none of them would pick up. (I later learned that it was because many cell phone services were having a problem with phone calls and some texts.) We're on a tornado watch for another hour, but it's all to the east now.

What sucks was that I had to walk home. I was one of the last people when the AP World History teacher asked the office if I could have permission to walk home. They said it was fine and that I should start walking immediately in case some remains from the storm passed by.

Well...a little did. It rained as I walked home and then there was some lightning and thunder, which scared the s**t out of me. Thunder naturally puts me on edge. Over the years I've managed to cope better with it. I get nervous when there's thunder, but if I'm safe inside then I can deal with it unless it's really, really close and shakes the house. Oh, and it also scares me more at night.

Anyway, as I was halfway home, the sky lit up with lightning. I immediately though, "Oh bloody ******** ******** ********." Moments later there was some really loud thunder.

Needless to say, I was really scared and started running home.

That was one of the most frightening experiences of my life recently. gonk I </3 thunderstorms...ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M OUTSIDE IN AN OPEN SPACE. It's very, very unnerving.

Well, at least I made it home okay! xd
