So this is my first journal entry. It is my first day of summer vacation, 2008. Someone told me I had awesome comments in the area. I know I'm awesome, but not that many people usually bother to tell me. xd We had about half a conversation, but it was plenty enough for me to begin my rambling. Honestly, comments in the area are there for a reason. You want to comment about their entry. Sorry n00bs, but posting "first comment" has virtually nothing to do with their entry other than you commented. You want to post about what they can improve on if their avatar is odd, what they are missing altogether, or even what they did right. If they are missing something, of course you need to tell them. I hate it when people don't add a description. If they beg sometimes it should result in reduction of score. It is not all about the avatar, the description counts. If they have made a decent entry but you have a few ideas, go ahead and say them. The thing I see the least is what they do right. Seriously people, if you don't tell them, they might think it would be okay to change it. If you like the color scheme, tell them you do! Simply saying "neat" or "cool avatar" doesn't do much. And for those of you only saying "first comment", stop. People new to the areas usually see the first comment their and often read it. Rarely any others. These people should know what to look for, and they can't if your comment is in the way. Let people with something to say post first, please.
