Well, at last it is the Friday of the OtakuOmaha convention. I have been looking forward to this since when the "family" decided that we all wanted to go together, just like we did for the Anime NebrasKon. I am not quite sure of what the turnout will be like, but I have a feeling that it won't be as big as the NebrasKon in Lincoln. Regardless though, I'm looking forward to three days of fun with my "family" and my brother. I was looking forward to all of us going as characters from Death Note, but it seems like that won't be the case so much since some people's costumes did not work out. I am planning to go as Light Yagami and my brother is going as Ryuk so that in itself should be rather interesting. To my knowledge, Baku is going as Ryuzaki(L) and Mizu is still going as Misa-Misa but I'm not sure about that one entirely.

One might ask, why am I taking my brother to the OtakuCon? It's because only a few days after the convention, my brother has a court date coming up and who knows what the outcome will be. He and I both figured that if something were to happen, he might as well go out with a bang. That's pretty much the only reason why, although I must admit he will make a pretty good Ryuk, if he could get the laugh right. But no one is perfect lol.

Anyway, those are my plans for this weekend. After which it's back to work with me, even though I still work today lol. I have adjusted pretty well to the new schedule I have to endure and I've also gotten used to most of the proceedings of my new position, although I'm sure there is still plenty more for me to learn. whenever, I work the sales floor it always promises a busy day. Just like when I was a cashier a lot of the people in hardlines don't do their job either it seems... But I guess that's to be expected.
