]T i f a says...Wow, I can't believe that I'm actually deciding to use this thing again! Perhaps it's because I'm starting a new chapter in my life, having just graduated from high school and transitioning into the exciting, yet scary world of college for the first time. Maybe I just need a place to talk about pointless and not-so-pointless stuff that happens to me. I'm not really sure. Regardless of the reason, I've opted to revive this journal. So, here I go with my first real entry...
I watched Sweeney Todd for the first time last night. At first, I wasn't too sure if the movie was going to live up to the greatness that I had pictured for any film made by Tim Burton. After a while, I started to focus on the actual storyline and what the actors were doing instead of trying to listen to every single word that was said. It was becoming difficult anyway; it was past midnight and I didn't want to turn the volume up too loud and risk waking my parents up. There was also the common problem of the music being way louder than the talking. Overall, the film was done beautifully and I had to agree with the critic who said that Tim Burton was probably the only person that could pull it off. The man is brilliant.
