This is my idea for a continuation of "Avatar the last air bender" as well as many other interesting facts and ideas I have about avatar.
Well as some of you may know there isa theory that when identical twins are born usually one is evil and one is good. This is sometimes manifested by one twin having a different dominant hand. When Katara is in the great spiritlibrary she mentions that in one of Aangs past lives he was left handed. This got me thinking of a continuation after Aang defeats the fire lord. The story starts two complete avatar cycles ago. The Avatar had been an air bender and the world waited as the water tribes looked for the next avatar. It was found that it would be the child of water bender named ( I haven't thought of her name yet so I call her Woman for now ) Woman that would become he next avatar. however when she did give birth two babies were born, identical twins. As the children grew up the right handed twin greatly serpased his brother in water bending. When the day came for the anouncement of the avatar everyone was shocked when it was revealed that the left handed twin would become avatar. Outraged the avatars twin brother left his village and headed into the dreaded tundra. There he trained fo years until he became the ultimate water bender. Now stronger in his element then the avatar he challenged his brother and forced a fight. Even though the avatar had mastered all four elements his brothers power was to much and it was only when the Avatar used the avatar state was he able to effectivley combat his brother. The avatar ( being the good twin) however could not bring himself to kill his brother. So the avatar waited for an opening, then he sealed his brother in ice and created the most northern part of the north pole. It wasn't until after avatar Aang defeated the fire lord that a young group of adventurers went out in earch of the avatars brother (only spoken of in myth and legend). When they actually find him they release hi and once again the avatars brother goes looking to defeat the current avatar.

Oh this is just some evidence that helps prove that Aang isn't the last avatar

While reviewing book three (or what has been released of book three) I came to the episode where Aang and Zuko go looking for the Sun Warriors who have aparently have been dead for thousands of generations. However after going to the ruins and settig off a lot of boody traps they find a small survivng group of sun warriors. If the sun warriors could stay hidden for thousands of years then is it not possible that a group of air benders, who have the ability to fly amongst clouds and reach hieghts that are impossible for others to get to, could remain hidden for a mear one-hundred years? Another thing I've noticed is that ( except for the southern air temple ) there have been no bodies of air benders, even in the southern air temple there were more fire bender bodies then air benders. If you look at the map ( and have watched the show ) you'll notice that there is an air temple at every corner of the world (East, West, North, South). Now I can understand how the air benders in the west and south temples were taken out without any escape (since they are the closest temples to the fire nation) but the northern and eastern air temples would be near to impossible to attack without someone getting away or people evacuating. Think about it, in order to get to the eastern air temple the fire nation would have to use big very notacible boats and sail across the world unoticed with their army to get to the east air temple. The boats would be slow so the air benders would have seen them coming an even if they didn't they have an entire conitinent to hide in. Plus you would think if an earth nation person saw an entire fleet of fire nation battle ships sailing for the east air temple they would try and warn the nomads. Also Aang said he had friends he visited all around the world, this means that some airbenders must have left the temples to go journeying. So is it not also possible that some airbenders escaped because they weren't even at the temples? I think it is more acurate to say that Aang is the only practicing air bender and that many more lay in hiding.
