Sorrow
A single tear
Lingers on her cheek
It’s not fair
There’s no compassion
For her
A single dark patch
On the quilt of night
Everyone else glowing bright
Save for her
Sorrow will always be alone
It’s her destiny
The tears fall harder now
There’s no going back
Her raw emotions
Lay exposed and barren
For all to see
They all laugh
And blame her for
Uncommitted crimes
They don’t understand
What it’s like to be her
