UPDATE!!Watched a movie yesterday...
Get Smart, which was about a secret agent service and whatnot. But I remember seeing all the previews and one had a preview about the new upcoming movie in December,
Twilight. It has the main character ((or was he, like, the second main character...?)) who was from Harry Potter, who played Cedric. That preview really made me wonder:
Twilight is coming up on December... but so is
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. So who would watch which...??
I would obviously watch Harry Potter for various reasons:1. Tom Felton.
2. I happen to like ALL the Harry Potter movies/books.
3. I've never read
Twilight so I don't really give a crap about it.
4.
Twilight seems overrated so I have no intension of reading/watching it anyway.
5. Isn't
Twilight a romance novel...? So if I watched it, I would be watching a romance movie....?!?!?
6. Tom Felton isn't in the cast of
Twilight, and if he was, it would probably scare the s**t outa me, and make me hate him forever.
7. Harry Potter may be overrated too, but as long as it's not overrated because of its romance, I'm okay with that. ((But I'm guessing it is...? Ex: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, etc.))
8. I wanna see how Dumbledore dies!!! ((Oops... Spoiler!))
9. And the fact that Ron gets a girlfriend is funny. ((Uhhh.... Spoiler again!)))
10. Draco Malfoy plays a BIG part in the
Harry Potter movie! His various problems in life and decisions he must make being an evil guy and having an evil family and surrounded with evil people in general and etc... All in all, there are going to be A LOOOT of scenes with Malfoy. ^.^
So there is absolutely no point of me watching and/or reading
Twilight! But of course, that is only me... There might be others interested in watching
Twilight over
Harry Potter, and I have no problem with that. Because y'know, the book is almost always better than the movie and the movie practically ruins the whole book and I will laugh at their faces if that happens in
Twilight. Although, I might seem hypocritical because the same might happen with
Harry Potter. But that doesn't matter because they don't have Tom Felton in their movie, and I DO!!!!! Mwahahhahaaaa...
IT MAKES YOU THINK...I saw somewhere... ((can't remember where!)) a phrase that I liked. It said that God created Man in his image, and then he created woman. He created woman from Adam’s rib, to stand by his side, to be his equal. He didn’t create her from his foot, to be beneath him. He didn’t create her from his skull, to be above him. He didn’t create her from his hand, to be carried by him. He created her from his rib, to stand by his side, for all time. I really liked that saying, no matter what someone’s belief in a higher power might be, I liked that thought.
