A Touch of History
This will mostly contain history stuff.
Famine
It seems to me most modern famines are artificial, like the one in Somalia was.

I've been reading up on the Irish Potato Famine. Isn't it nice to know a million people died of starvation to protect British profits? It must have been so comforting for all those people forced on to the aptly named coffin ships to see all that food being exported to England from the same port. So gratifying that all those people died of typhus, dissentary, and cruelty on ship board died so British Lords could live in extra comfort. After all they were only Irish.

Grump. Grump.

You have to be more specific sometimes! What makes you say famines are artificial? In what way are they artificial? The Irish Potato Famine, you're not calling that artificial, are you? I'm so confused!
