Meet Tahl. High Commander of the heavenly army. Few things can rival his strategic expertise in battle as he leads the forces of glory against the demonic slaughter fest that plagues our world. Go dude.
Jack, the Keeper. Jack guards both Heaven's reserve forces and Hells most wicked warriors. He hides on Earth, posing as Gambino's assistant to avoid becoming partial to either side.
Svercion is the Overlord General of Hell's army. He answers only to Lucifer himself and rules the armies with an iron fist. Tahl constantly gets in his way though, and the battle goes on. The ball and chain represents his sin, his eyes carved out as his punishment in Hell.
Hygiera is Heaven's watchman. He has loyally overseen the happenings of the world, nothing escapes his watchful eyes. He is also High Advisory to Tahl.

Vharley was specifically trained to be Hygiera's assassin. Granted control as the new Horseman of Death, he will cut down any who get in the way of his end goal. Unfortunately, as a being who can see all things at all times, Hygiera continually evades Vharley.
Raze and Strife are two sides of the same spectrum. Brother and sister, there is so sibling rivalry. The co-existence of these two is essential to keep the balance of the world. They vie off of each other's power evenly to stay alive. They have existed for eternity as the conscience of the gods, driving one to darkness and the other to stay on the path of light. Now, in shame of what they have done, they exist out of time to stay away from the world, on its own stubborn path.

Antioch is the deposed Horseman of Death. His steed was forcibly taken from his by Vharley in an act of lust for power. He works directly under Jack the Keeper still, as the Ruler of Chaos. He is constantly seeking out Vharley to find him and battle him for his title back.
Scivus is Tahl's apprentice. As a precautionary measure, Tahl asked The God to make him a son to train and teach to fall into his place in case a tragedy should befall Tahl. but Tahl developed a soft spot for this little one and kept him away from battle, locked away behind the walls of Heaven where he would be safe.

Remy, also known as The Shepard, is a neutral gaurdian of earth's people. He is a biblical impossibility; An angel, who rebelled against Heaven's rule, but did not flee to Hell's army. He takes on learners and teaches them the truths that he witnessed first hand in Heaven. It is from him that most Earthly religions originated, and to him that those seeking saftey from Hell and escape from Heaven run to.
