One more month and one more day until Otakon. I FINALLY got my parents to start ordering things, even though it took them a while.

Alicia's parents are going to order the Asch cosplay stuff for her.

I was going to commission a sword for $160 including shipping, but it could take up to 6 weeks until it got here. So...instead, I'm going to attempt to make a Mieu plushie. I think today or tomorrow I'm going to ask my mom if we can drive to the craft store and then to Goodwill--I need to buy some boots and spray paint to make Luke's shoes.

We had to reorder my wig because we couldn't have UPS 3 day select with the foam head due to the weight. So, it has to be ground shipping, but the Amphigory company is nearby, so they said it might only take 2 days to get here. And it takes up to 15 business days to get the wigs...so that's 3 weeks there plus the 2 days. I should have it in time.

And it takes about 2 and a half weeks for the costume to be made and shipped here. I'm hoping to get that taken care of A.S.A.P. but I need a tape measure. My mom apparently lost ours.

Hopefully everything is here on time. Now I've learned to start pestering my parents earlier so I'm not worried about everything. I meant to do all of this in June, but they kept waving it off.
