The Magician's Ward The Magician's Ward, Patricia Wrede. Victorian magic, strong female lead, solid period feel, fun plot. I particularly like them trying to civilize Kim and her ways of reacting to it. Pleasant enough sequel to Mairelon the Magician, though not quite as fun as the collaboration above.
