Well, look at this... I have a new avatar! It's purple. ^_^ I love purple, the next avatar I'll go for is going to be green. But it's hard for me to find black & green gothy avatar stuff... I'll think of something. So, anyway, went to go see Hellboy 2 opening day. It was awesome! It's basically about this hidden tribe, who had fought a war with the humans and lost, until a blacksmith came and asked the king if he wanted to have an army where he could only command them. The king agreed, and the blacksmith made "The Golden Army," and gave the king a golden crown that, when he wore it, the army would obey him. So the army fought mercilessly against the humans, slaughtering countless men. The king stared in horror at the scene, and decided to call a truce. He thought that if the humans had a piece of the crown, and kept two for himself, that the war would end. But in exchange the humans have to keep the peace, and respect the land. With that being said, the king's son, Prince Nuada, had a strong disliking towards his father's decision. He was then banished into exile for his act of strong disagreement with his father. Many millennia later, an auction is being held, they are auctioning off the crown piece from the golden crown in the human world. Prince Nuada hears about this, and instantaneously barges in and ambushes the place, killing dozens of people in the process. With his strong will to command the Golden Army, he steals the first crown piece, then heads for the king's chambers. In the meantime, Hellboy is naturally on the case, investigating the scene of the crime.
Well, I'm not going to spoil THAT much of the movie, so I'll stop my little review now. In any case, GO SEE IT, if you haven't already. It's filled with humor, drama, action, fantasy and of course, a crazy, awesome story line. Go see it, and say .Butter.Scotch. recommended it. xD
