i took up my mace again, and ran toward the thing. but, i was stopped by the dude's sister, claire. her glazed eyes gave me chills down my spine. "claire, listen to me. you're being possesed, and we want to help you!!!" i said, dodging the thing's sythe, and claire's kicks. the sythe ripped through my skin, but only a little. only a little hurt like ******** HELL!!!!! i put my hand over my arm, where the bleeding was. dan tried to get the book, but the ghost appeared in front of him. i jumped behind the ghost, and swung blindly at it. he schreeched again, but this time we avoided it. except for claire, who took the brunt of it. she dropped to the ground, and the ghost-thing floated toward her. it transformed to her boyfriend, who was killed. "i get it now..... she's lonely, and she wanted revenge..." zack said blindly. i stared at him, then her, then the book. she was in deep trouble, from what i saw on her face.
i knew she was trying to break free, but it was useless. the ghost had her where he wanted her. i crouched down, biting my thumb. "what to do, what to do...... how the hell do we free her?" i looked up at zack, who was smiling. "i cant do anything. but you can." "what?! what can i freakin do?!?!" "you can get through to her. remember, the guys thought she liked you. maybe..... we can use that to our advantage..!" i smiled, standing up. i guess i had that glint in my eyes, he was smiling.
i took up my mace again, and charged. instead of going for the ghost, i went toward claire. it took thr ghost a long time to realize it, but as soon as it noticed, it was too late. i already was by her,whispering something into her ear.
damn, i'm so jealous of him. he the bad boy, and yet hes always innocent. i saw him go up to her, just as planned. he was whispering something into her ear, god knows what, but he was doing something good. i could tell she was trying to break free. but, i saw him do something unexpected. he kissed her, out of nowhere!!
i got through. she broke free of her possessed state. we won. i helped her close the book, and it seemed to work! we beat it!!!
next thing i knew, i was on the couch. i felt rigid, but i saw two of my dead friends. turns out they weren't dead after all!!! "What the freakin hell...?" zack seemed to be as distressed as i was. when claire came down, i saw she had the book clutched to her. you've been given a second chance. you stopped the beast once, now its time to stop another from coming.
my friend was about to yell at his sister, but i put my hand on his shoulder, and i winked at her. she dropped the book, and started to blush. the others, except for zack, had no idea what was going on. i walked up the stairs, and onto their porch. i sat on a chair, and was looking down at the valley below us. man, this is one beautiful summer house... i heard the door close, and i lifted my head to see who it was.
turns out it was claire, who sat in a chair next to me. "what happened.... i thought.... they were all dead...." "i'm not too sure, claire;" i winked at her, "but trust me, let's keep it this way!" i smiled, and again, she blushed. i had no idea the others were looking through the door's window, or they'd have never known that we kissed......... again................ stupid morons they are........ XP
