Rinoa is the first child and daughter of Arren, a Light Dragon princess who married and elven man named Zorian. She has two younger siblings. Her brother, Alex, and her baby sister, Nari.
Though a half dragon, royal blood does flow through her veins. Her mother, who's home was destroyed long ago, lived the life of a commoner, thus was the way Rinoa was raised. Growing up in a 'somewhat' peaceful village, Rinoa grew up a free spirit, fearless and determined. She learned and became skilled with a bow and sword, but her skill was best in archery. Admiring her mother's ability with magic, Rinoa took it up to learn healing magic, as well as other elemental spells.
Rinoa has on her back a mysterious marking, which is still unknown to her parents as what it really is, as it has been there since her birth. Her parents came to beleive that it was inherited from them, the two both being magic users. Because she does not know much of her mother's origin yet, it is unknown to her if she possesses wings or not. She has dark-blue hair like her father, but resembles her mother much more. When angered, her eyes take a golden hue.
She tends to be open with strangers, always looking to make a new friend. She has a habit of calling her father 'Old Man,`and often scolds her brother for his sometimes foolish actons. However, she loves her brother, and would do anything to protect her family, even put her own life at stake. She is also a forgiving person. Her father held with him a bloody past, one in which he killed many people for the wrong reason and came to regret it. After learning of this, Rinoa, unlike her brother, forgave him, as she understood his pain and how much he hated himself.
Throughout her years, the young halfling dreamed of traveling to many lands outside her own. She wished to see many people, eat diffrent foods, learn the diffrent customs and of the cultures. Because her father was protective of her, and because she respected and did not want to worry her parents, she refused to leave at such an early age. It is she who is often looking out for her siblings, espessially her brother.
Meeting many strange people in the village, Rinoa eventually met a young prince named Akira, a half-dragon, like her, and a foreigner from a country far from her homeland. Though he was blind, the two got along very well, and grew to be very fond of each other. After helping Akira defeat his enemy, a Black dragon named Azazle, he left back to his home country, leaving Rinoa a flower made of ice, a gift he had made especially for her. Through his absence Rinoa honed her skills, looked out for her brother, and, risked her life to stop her father's evil alter ego which had been created many years ago. Being so young, Rinoa had a habit of getting herself into quite a bit of trouble, but, despite this, she was the most mature of the siblings.
When Akira returned, it was revealed that he was no longer blind, and was once more gifted with sight. Having not seen each other for about a year or two, Rinoa was greeted with a kiss, and a crush between the two began to grow. Of course, this was not told her her overprotective father, while her mother was completely fine with it. The two made arrangements to travel together one day, once they were old enough, but deep down Rinoaknew she was going to become homesick.

Nari is the youngest of Arren's children, and Rinoa's baby sister. A curious child, Nari often acts in ways she has seen first. One of her hobbies include chasing things like fairies with a net. She does not speak much, and is often under supervision of a fairy named Evris. Nari has an intrest in shiney objects, particularly jewels and gemstones. She is also quite sneaky, and has a habit of poking things with a stick.
She has short, light-blue hair, unlike her mother and sister, who's are longer in length.
