Geeky's got three little lambs, three little lambs, three little lambs.
Geeky's got three little lambs . . . and they are soo cute!

So I heard on the local grapevine earlier this week that a local sheep farm was giving away orphaned lambs to hand raise. So the collective Geeky family tromped out to see what was what and came home with four little ewes (one died from complications).

So now I am one of three mummies to three little bleating lambs. Lambs are so much fun to play with, but they have to be fed four times a day at the moment.

Whenever you go down to the shed they come running up to you and latch onto anything they can to try and get a feed. Your clothes, fingers, hair, nose, pretty much anything gets the blubbery whiskery wuffily treatment.

When they are weaned they'll go out into the paddocks with our other sheep. Yes we have sheep, and chooks, and barn cats . . . did I mention we live in the country?

The sheep are for wool and eating, the chooks are for eggs and eating and the cats are for eating anything we don't want around in our yards, lol.
