M'kay. So, I love the RPs you find in the Neighborhood subforum. They're always so purdy, but are sometimes absolutely ridiculous with the rules. But that's Ok. Cause I just read the rules first. But anyway, this is a rant about all RPs in general.
I don't see the point of reserving all your posts then going away. Or taking several hours to make an RP. Or making half your RP then going away. You have an audience the moment people see Under Construction because it's got that fresh new role play smell. But then you disappear, leaving your audience hungry for more but unable to do anything about it.
Plan your ******** role plays out in the Test Forum or in Word/some other place before you post them. I hate ******** finding an RP that looks good, only to sit around for an hour, get to the rules (3rd post) and be like "Nope, I can't do this RP." Yes, I judge RPs based on rules. I won't join if you tell me that I MUST post x amount of paragraphs with y amount of lines/sentences unless I think that's acceptible. And if you tell me a minimum for writer's block? ******** you too. I hate role plays with novels posts. They always just move sooo slowly. However, if your length isn't meh but I really like the story, I'll join.
But again, you leave in the middle of the RP before people can gedt interested. Now, either one of two things happens. Either I subscribe to it, and come back on the next day to find you begging for RPers because your topic has fallen off the first page and thus no one sees it or all the good roles are taken because I wasn't awake when you decided to finish the role play I had been awake for when you started it. Which pisses me off cause I've missed out on some really good role plays because of this.
But that's my rant. Enjoy it and have fun ^^
