you know...
i don't get why we have such a long summer break...
don't get me wrong, i love summer and all, but i don't get why we have to have such a long summer break...
why not do the year-round school with the month long breaks every three months???
i would love a month off for christmas...
anyway...
a new school year is one of my favorite times of the year...
i get to buy new clothes (i heart shopping!)
i get to buy new school supplies (i heart school supplies!)
and i get to see all of the people i promised i would stay in touch with but didn't get a chance to and explain to them that i just had such a busy summer but i tried to call and didn't get through, at which i prattle off a number that is one number different than theirs, when they notice they say, oh, i must have accidently written my 5 a little sloppy or oh that was supposed to be a 7, and to which i apologize that i hadn't double checked the number, and then we laugh at the crazy thought of my voicemails being heard by someone who thinks i'm insane...
yeah, it's foolproof... (i heart school friends!)
continuing on...
school starts the 27th and i am half dreading it half looking forward to it...
it is sad that summer is over but, hey, why not start pretending that i am going to work out to look good in my bikini next summer now???
