I know most of you are looking at me and asking how in the world could I be a demon when I look so normal. I get that a lot and the question is evident in your eyes. Well, I’ll give you a brief summery of my life. My truest name is Youko. I was the greatest thief in both the Demon and Spirit world and till this day, still am. I stole mostly trinkets and scrolls. Striving for knowledge of... just about anything and everything.” He chuckled as he saw some of the faces the kids were making. “You don’t have to worry, none of your personal items will be missing. I’ve been broken of that habit. Well, to get back to the autobiography. One day, I planned to steal from a farmer, but when he saw me and began to chase me down, I ran. I made a wrong turn though his field and became trapped. He killed me. Before my spirit could completely evaporate into the thick Makai air, I used the rest of my energy to travel to the Human world and I implanted my spirit in the body of a pregnant woman’s child.” He listened for just a moment as he heard gasps and whispers. “This body that you see right now is not my own. This is the child that I’ve shared a soul with for 15 years. His name is Minamino Shuuichi. Who you are hearing right now is me, the demon within, Youko Kurama. Yes, it is confusing but that’s it. I lie dormant within this body until all my power returns and I can free myself. But until then, I reside with him.” He was quiet, waiting for the reactions. Everybody just looked at him in a sort of shock, not believe such a feet could be done. They had heard about animagus being performed... but to transfer your soul into another and fuse with their soul... there was no way.
