Dear Journal,

As I sit here and remember how I've gotten here, I thought to myself that i should write it down, so as time goes by and my memory turns to grey, then black, I can look back and remember all the good and bad times that I've had.

Let me start at the begining, The first thing i remember is my mother telling me to stay close to the cave for safety, as there were still plenty of predators out there that still hunted man at this time, mainly sabers and giant man eating bird, it was a crazy but beutiful time. By the time I was seven I was already learning how to hunt and lay traps for smaller prey such as rabbits and such. By nine I exceeded the expectations of my parents and clan and as it were allowed to go on the big game hunts.

In my teens I liked to explore, I would go as far as I could and still be able to make it back by dark, to avoid most of the creatures of the night. But one day I went out too far and got lost and could not find my way back home, that was a scary time, I had no one to rely on, I found out it was hard to fend for ones self, barely clinging to life with little shelter and smaller food portions then i was used to. That is until they found me, They have no name, they're just there in the shadows gathering for what purpose I still don't know to this day.

When they found me, I thought I was already dead, but they took me in nurtured me back to health and gave me a home. Several months later it was time for one of their rituals or so they said. They asked me if I wanted to join their clan, and never go hungry again, or never be alone again, what was I to do, they brought me back from the brink of death gave me a home and people to be around, so I said yes. And it is because of that I am here today in 2008 writing this story. But enough for today.
