The Demon's Halo
Chapter 10
"Damu. Isn't there any other way?" Kirai asked. Damu looked over at her. Her eyes were already beginning to tear, as he slowly shook his head. Kirai looked away.
"I feel aweful. Doing this to Kirai.... and Dawn, but it's the only way." Damu thought.
He had to track down the demons that just attacked them.
He began to fly faster, Kirai didn't leave his side.
Finally, Damu caught site of the small huddle of demons flying above the clouds. Quickly, Damu recognized one.
"Giza!" Damu called loudly, Kirai gasped a little, clutching onto her mouth she tried to hold back tears.
A long black haired demon stopped flying and looked down at Damu and Kirai.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Damu and Kirai. What's the matter? Tired of being on Earth?" Giza sneered and went to attack them.
Damu blocked his attack.
"I need to speak to Sin." Damu growled.
"Why should you? I see the rumors are true though. Half angel half demon. Pretty weird." Giza laughed, his black hair falling over pitch black eyes.
"It's about Prise. And as the son of Sin, I demand that you let me see him." Damu announced. Then, Giza instantly stopped laughing.
He sighed deeply, he seemed very irritated now.
Prise flew over and looked down at Damu.
"This is my body now half breed." The demon Prise sneered.
Damu ignored him.
"Damu.... don't do this!" Kirai begged.
"Well, I see what has happened to you Kirai. I was wondering why you didn't become a wandering soul. It feels funny seeing you here after I helped tear you apart." Giza snickered. Kirai looked away remembering.
"Very well. I will take you to see Sin, but the "angel" stays here with the other demons." Giza said, the demons laughing.
"I won't allow that." Damu said. "As the prince of Hell I demand she comes along with me, unharmed. And She will be allowed to leave Hell when all this is over. Unharmed as well."
Giza and Prise began growling in frustration.
"Is he really the prince Giza?" A female demon asked.
"Yes. He is." He growled. "Fine. Kirai, Damu, follow me."
with that, Giza led Damu and Kirai into Hell. They both were entering a world that neithar of them ever wanted to be in ever again.

"Shuja! Go stop him! You can't let him do that!" I screamed.
"I'm sorry Lady Dawn, I can't do that. Damu decided what he has to do to get Prise back. Once he chooses what he's doing, he doesn't turn back." Shuja sighed.
"But! The Almighty One said that when he dies he can return to Heaven right?! So, he's just going to become an angel again right?" I asked.
Shuja shook his head sullenly.
"No. Damu has decided to take Prise's place in the demon world."
My heart stopped. This was going in one big circle!
"He'll....... be a demon again?! Why?! Why would Sin agree to this? He's half angel!!" I gasped.
"Damu is Sin's son." Shuja whispered. I collapsed to my knees in disbelief.
"Sin's.......son?"
"Yes. Damu is ritefully the Prince of Hell." He whispered looking at me.
I swallowed hard.
"He'll get through this...... I know he will..... He'll bring Prise back and come back himself when this is all over.... Right?" I tried convincing myself, but with Shuja shaking his head back and forth, it didn't work very well. I began to cry.
"Damu! I don't want you to leave me!" I whispered.

The heat hit Damu hard. His body instantly felt heavier and he broke out into an instant sweat. All around him were sounds of screaming, crying, and the smell of rotten blood filled the room.
Damu grabbed Kirai's hand, she couldn't see where she was going.
Giza stopped at the very familiar big black door.
He knocked.
"Who is it?" A dreadfully familiar voice boomed.
"Giza, My lord. Damu has returned and he wishes to speak to you." Giza said. There was a long silence, then the door opened.
Damu clutched Kirai's hand and stepped into the fierry room.
Sadly, Damu looked over at the thrown where his father, the King of Hell, sat. Awaiting for him to enter further.
All he could see was a black outline and two blood red eyes.
"Why have you returned? And with an angel nonetheless." Sin's voice boomed.
"I came to make an offering, about a trade." Damu said.
Kirai squeezed his hand at the sight of Sin.
"What kind of trade?" Sin scowled.
"I wish for you to release the dmeon that you placed into the body of Prise." Damu said, "And make me into a demon again in his place."
Kirai gasped in horror and sadness.
Sin was silent for a long time.
"And why did you think I would agree to this?"
"I am your son. I doubt you do not want me back." Damu said.
Sin growled deeply.
"That is so......" He sighed and then roared for Giza.
Giza walked in.
"Yes my lord?"
"Go retrieve Prise." He sneered. Giza looked at me with a smile and left.
When he returned, Prise was in his arms.
"Let go of me! My lord! Why are you doing this?! I'll become a soul!" The demon in Prise gasped.
"Damu is more important then you will ever be." He said simply and began chanting. The demon Prise began screaming.
The black flames left the body and dissapeared into air.
Prise gasped loudly and began coughing instantly.
"Kirai, take Prise to the surface." Damu said.
"Damu..... I don't want to loose you..." she weeped.
"Do it Kirai!" Damu snapped.
Her eyes widened.
"Ok..... I love you Damu...." She cried.
"I love you too Kirai..." Damu said planting his lips onto hers.
For a moment they forgot where they were and who was watching, until Sin shot Damu with a magical beam that serged throughout his body, the pain of a thousand needles driving into his heart.
Trying to ignore the pain, Damu saw Kirai run out of the room with Prise in her arms.
"You're mine." Sin sneered and sent another wave into Damu.
He screamed out of pain and misery as his angelic wing fell off, and was replaced by a demonic wing. The pain was to much to handle, and he slowly slipped into a coma.
