I almost refused to believe what I was hearing. Back to school?! Back to that s**t hole in NY?! No...no...I couldn't go back there again..I'd kill myself if I had to do that again. I couldn't go back there after everything that happened. "Relax~" Sephirio said with a smile. "They're starting a school here in Cali and I'd love it if all those who can attend would come. Of course I'll have selected uniforms and such~ Here are the registration forms...now if you'll excuse me, I need to go pick up my uniform." I couldn't believe what I was hearing...again. "Sephirio, you're going to be a student?! Aren't you a little too....old?!" "Good heavens no! I never graduated from Angel Academy of even high school for that matter...the Council is sort of forcing me. It was either this or be a teacher though, I think they'd prefer the teacher thing....hahahaha." Sephi left and Derek walked in,"Erm...I don't think they can take being in that basement for much longer...in fact..." Makani dive bombed Maria to the ground and snuggled up to her,"Oh Maria....I thought I'd never be able to see you again!!! Being away from you for even a moment made my heart shatter into a thousand pieces...it was ghastly!!! And then to be stuck with that damned hunter..ugh...like talking to a monkey.." I could definitely see where talking to Zian could make someone feel that way. I think only Maria, Taima and Hanori had the patience for him. Misha squeezed my hand,"You work with demons Angel-hime?" "Er..well...Only the twins and Makani count I guess. But they've changed for the better. Zian is sort of stuck with us and Hanori...well she has no where else to go so yea...But we'd get into a lot of trouble if Sephirio knew that-" "Knew that you were keeping them in the basement?" a voice asked. I turned behind me and sure enough the Arcanium was there. "I've always known..but the star did put up an impressive barrier....but I'm not upset. In fact...I'm very glad." "You are?" Kade asked. "Yes...to think that so many people have already been changed by these three it is quite an accomplishment. Brava." "S-So Maria won't get in trouble?" "Nope! I applaud her but the Council will think otherwise though I guess this can be our little secret since I guess in a way...I'm your stupidvisor~ Just keep it on the down low...oh and Your Highness?" he asked, turning to Makani. "Try not to get too attracted to Miss Maria. Either they'll kill you or her...and I don't think you'll want to be in that position." he said, disappearing. "Maka..." Ishi commented. "No..it's fine...I knew someone would eventually tell me this but...I don't care! I'll throw away my crown if that's what it means.....I'm going to be with Maria!!!" I saw the pink-haired angel blush seven shades of red. "Feh...good luck with that...Angels are pretty ruley about everything." Sin commented, while painting her nails. "Says this from the Shade Princess with no boyfriend experience whatsoever~" Cerca giggled. Sin rolled her eyes,"Zip it!! The closest thing you've had to a lover is those fools at the Universal Representatives..." she countered. "Well...anyways, I still think any kind of love is beautiful..especially one that defies all logic~" Misha hugged tighter onto my arm,"See...Angel-hime, why don't we get together like that?" "Er....Ah...I-I-I was n-never really one for erm...relationships...maybe next lifetime?" I stammered. I don't think she was able to completely understand what I was saying but she answered,"Aww....okay..." she said with a pout, still holding onto my arm. Ishio actually dragged me away,"I'm pretty sure that means...'leave me alone' so...I'll be taking her back thanks. Besides...I was going to take her on a date anyways." he announced. I blinked,"Heke?! Er...what did you just say?" "I said, I'm taking you on a date. Now go get changed!!" he said, throwing me upstairs. Of course Mariko and Natalie where the first to tackle me down. "We shall make you into a masterpiece~" they sang, dragging me away.


"What are you doing?!" Makani asked. "Um...putting on my hat?" Ishi told. Trent snatched the hat away,"What the hell is wrong with you?! We manage to clean you up and this is how you repay us?!" he scolded. Ishio blinked,"What are you talking about?! Wish was the one who did all the work! I made a wish and he took over everything...are you trying to take his credit or something?" Wish laughed,"Are you doing this out of jealousy? For another girl? Sounds like someone doesn't have a lot of confidence." "Hush! I just er...I-I-I've always wanted to go on a date with Angel and...with this being California, I think this is the perfect setting." he lied. "Well...just remember all the things I taught you! If you want any hope of getting laid tonight, follow them exactly!!" said Maka. "Are you mad? If he does that the only thing he'll get is a smack in the face. Listen...I did this with Mariko and Derek followed the same way. If you want this date to go well...put the girl over everything and just be yourself. Okay? Knock 'em dead champ!!!" Trent said, pushing the boy away. Ishio walked out to see Angel with her hair up and wearing a cotton white dress. "Oi...I hate it when people try and make me look 'innocent' but I guess this'll do...c'mon, let's go." she said, dragging him away. It was mid afternoon but still extremely hot so Angel put down her amber sunglasses and looked at him,"Huh...you clean up pretty good for a guy who constantly wears that retarded hat. It's way too...gay looking." she laughed. "Ah! Hey! My hat is not stupid or gay-looking thank you!! I like it...the only reason I'm not wearing it is because I wanted to prove to you that I'm not an NY kid all the time." "And you did...you're quite handsome looking." she said with a smile, taking his hand. Ishio blushed,"I saw this neat little cafe while we were walking the other day; you mind?" "Nope~ I haven't been to a cafe like ever....I'm a fast-food kind of girl." she laughed. "Alright then." After the two sat down and placed their orders Ishi found it a perfect time to start getting to know Miss Angel on a more personal level. "So...were you born in New York?" he asked. Angel shook her head,"No...I was actually born in Montana...but I-" she stopped and smiled at him,"What about you?" "Er...I was born here...at least that's what Dad tells me." "It seems like your father keeps you on a pretty tight leash, you ever wonder why?" "Hm...probably because Mom passed away...Dad always tells me he just wants what's best for me...and he's worried about my health a lot too." "Well, you look much better then from when I first met you. I could've sworn you looked like a drug addict. Always in pain, throwing up blood, pale...you looked horrible. But this angel thing really is fixing you up huh?" "Yea...I think Wish's stardust completely cured it though.." "What? Are you serious?! That's wonderful!" she said, hugging onto him. "Yea...I asked Derek and Matt to do a scan on me and...there was nothing wrong. You should've seen all the tests they gave me." he laughed. The two ate and then went to a store to go shopping for the others. "Alright...we got gifts for everyone...even a baby outfit for Illia....so should we leave?" Angel asked. "Oh wait...hold on!" Ishio said, running off. The blonde waited until the boy returned with a smile on his face. "I've been eyeing this for awhile...and I think it would look really nice on you. Close your eyes~" he ordered. Angel obeyed and blushed out of nervousness. "Okay...open!" Angel blinked and glanced at her right hand. Resting on her middle finger was a gorgeous golden ring with a sapphire stones and diamonds all around it. "Oh my God...Ishio...this is too beautiful....Ishi...this is something you give to your wife...God knows how expensive this must've been...take it back." she said, taking it off her finger. He shook his head,"No...I want Angel to have it. I did buy it for her after all." She blushed and tears began welling up in her eyes,"I can't..." Ishio placed it back on her finger and smiled,"Please? Wear it for me okay? I think it looks very beautiful on you." Angel cried,"Ishio...no one has ever given me anything this nice before...ever..." "Oh stop it...Every girl gets at least one nice thing from their parents." Ishi said, the two now walking home in the moonlight. It was only because of the moonlit night that Ishio was able to see the girl's tears as she shook her head. "No...Ishio...I never got anything nice in my entire life...I was barely even able to get any attention much less material objects..." "Angel...are you alright?" "Y-Y-Yes...I'm fine...forgive me...I guess I was acting like a bit of a baby there huh?" she smiled, tears still in her eyes. "Oi! Hey gorgeous, why don't you and me take a visit to my place eh?" A man said suddenly, grabbing Angel's wrist. "Aah!! Let me go you jerk!!" Angel screamed. Ishio instantly sprung into action, with only a few seconds passing by he wrenched Angel from the man's hand. "Did he hurt you?" he asked, Angel now in his arms. She shook her head,"No...my arm just has an ugly bruise that's all." she said. Ishio got angry and lifted the man into the air with one arm,"What the hell is your problem a*****e?! Lay off the drinks and find yourself a real hobby!" "O-Okay!! P-P-Please just put me down!!" he cried. "Yea that's right, you keep on running buddy. If I ever see you try and touch another girl again, especially if it's Angel...I won't hesitate to kill you." he threatened. "Ishi...that was amazing..." she said blushing. "Eh..that was nothing, I just don't like seeing the people I care about get hurt that's all..." "Thank you hero for rescuing me~" she said, kissing him on the cheek.


Haha...just a cute little chap I decided to do. Man Angel just keeps dodging the 'what's your past?' bullet very well...one day she'll tell...one day...Anyways, I think ima make the next COA chap a filler so...yea...deal with it
