As you sit at your computer, with no light on, except the light from the computer screen, you think you see something move out of the corner of your eye.
You stare blankly into the darkness, then feel stupid. It was just your imagination playing tricks on you. Your the only one home, remember? Your parents are out at that PTA meeting, and your sister is at a sleepover. It's just you tonight.
Glancing at the clock, you realize that your about ready to catch some sleep.

While brushing your teeth, you swear you saw the shower curtain jerk a little. You quickly glance over, but nothing is there.
Stupid imagination, you think. Such a pain being the only one home.
..
As you climb into your covers, you swear you saw a shadow move in the hallway. God, you think, my imagination is getting the better of me tonight. After that thought crosses your mind, you swear that you saw something move right next to your bed.
Feeling that child-like fear, you throw the covers over your face.
After 2 seconds, you feel stupid.
Geez, why is your imagination running wild?
As you pull the covers from your face, you see two blood red eyes, and a dark, formless body. Your imagination smiles down at you, with it's countless sharp teeth.
You almost had time to scream. Almost.
