The second of Shins generals was found in a small village known as Tobukari in a deep valley; the village was famous for their bugs that were said to sparkle like the most precious of jewels. One man took care of all the bugs and was considered somewhat of an outcast among the other villagers, his name was Okaji Nagiso. The villagers hated him because of his ferocity towards them when it came to his bugs; he had killed some villagers just to protect his bugs, that is how dedicated he was to them. The Darkness Seed infected Okaji when he was in his last moments of life; the villagers had had enough of him and decided to end his life by stabbing him in the chest and stomach multiple times. The bugs were biting into his skin when the dark reaction took place, causing his body to transform so that he would become a host to the bugs; they would feast on his energy and flesh and in return he gained the power to control and change them however he saw fit, Shin found the newly transformed Okaji and they both destroyed the village and killed all that resided there, Okaji then took the name Tickouri and joined Shins clan.

Shins third general was found on an island near Japan, the islanders were known for their power over fire and could bend it to their will. A young boy named Habuki was one of the strongest of his kind; his power over fire was so great that not even the leader of his people could defeat him in a firefight. With that much power in his command, he felt that he had no equal and killed whoever stood in his way; he ruled his people and conquered many other villages and soon had a great empire. Shin arrived on the island and immediately went to meet Habuki, they both agreed to a battle with a rather interesting outcome; if Shin lost he would serve Habuki for an eternity but if Habuki lost he would serve Shin. Shin beat Habuki and only used ten percent of his energy to do so, Habuki then changed his name to Honoo and then left the island with Shin and has followed him ever since.

A scientist known as Tai Sutuji became Shins fourth general; Tai was a man of science, trying to find ways to harness the power of electricity for many different uses. Now to others he seemed like a good and kind man that was simply trying to find a way to help all his people, but the experiments that he did in secret were quite evil and demented. He used electricity in many different ways, to torture people and animals, to see how much was needed to cause a living creature to burst into flames, and many other experiments that were considered to be the work of the devil. Tai was found out and put in one of his own inventions to be electrocuted to death, the Darkness Seed entered his body and instead of being electrocuted to death his body began to absorb it. Shin came upon Tai after he had completely destroyed the village of Hiban, the electricity that surged through his body had vaporized everything in the village and also made him twitch every few seconds; Shin bestowed onto him the name Jigen after he had agreed to obey his every command, Jigen has followed Shin ever since and has rained down destruction on whoever he is commanded to do so.
