I don't know you anymore
Your face has changed
Has your mind always been this ugly?
I've lost you in this fog

Your fingers slip through mine
And no matter how much I scream
Only echoes of my past answer
That betray what you used to be

Was your laughter always this empty?
Your eyes so incredibly fake?
I'm losing you slowly
They're your lips but not your words

We all have our masks
But yours was the best
Hiding all your lies and deceit
I can see the lies linger on your lips

I walk the other way
I hope to see you soon
At least find a piece of
What you used to be

Maybe I'll get lucky
Maybe it's just a dream
