Description;
Still has a body of someone in their 20s, though-
He seems to be even more sickly then normal, though he doesn't actually get sick really, he just looks and acts like it, almost as if he has a constant fatigue. Ed's skin is riddled with even more scars and such and now he even seems to be almost like a stitch together doll, perhaps adding or what created that effect of sickliness. Most likely the lack of food at times doesn't help much at all either.
One of his eyes however are missing which could account for his now very horrible death perception, but he wears no eye patch for it, leaving the hole in his face rather visible to anyone that looks at him. His other eye however is somewhat dulled and rather tired looking, most probably because of the slight bags under his eyes. b Also on his face he usually has a bit of stubble which adds to the hobo-y look of him.
He tends to wear rather weird looking but very derelict clothing. He still covers whole body however, quiet often including his neck and lower face these days.
His hair is now rather short, and constantly scruffy. He doesn't really get a chance to bath and such often after all.
His Hat;
His hat is actually a creature he made to help with the fact he can't actually speak any more, not really able to make anything out but maybe grunts, gurgles and other various noises one can make without actually saying anything. This creature latches onto his head with one special mouth to read his thoughts and the other mouth speaks out what Ed would like to say... Of course though, this leads to some problems where the hat says things out by accident which he didn't want to say at all.
The little critter has normal arms and legs, it's eyes on the sides of it's body to take up for the fact it has two mouths occupying it's face area. It likes to change colour quite often but these colours don't mean anything at all.
Weirdly it doesn't eat or drink anything, most probably just feeding energy off of it's host- which thankfully isn't much at all.
Without it, Edward tries to speak with gestures and the noises he can make and such, as people rarely ever know sign language- Though it doesn't mean he won't attempt to use it first to check, on the off chance of who he is talking to can.
Though he has this, he often leaves it at home out of frustration and ends up with wandering around with paper and pen. Though he does sometimes claim he lost the little fellow.
