Acts due to boredom
I made these because I was bored when writing them. Feel free to comment on my awesome storytelling, or appalling lack of entertainment. Whoo.
Pfft 2
"Genevieve!" Alex bolted upright. Breathing was difficult and thinking was impossible. The only thing he could see were the remnants of his dream very slowly fading away. The image of Genevieve burned into his mind took minutes to clear away. Once only a shadow of it was left within his subconscious his breathing settled. He could make out the dark objects in his room now. Across from him a wooden desk. Its left side was a rectangle that smoothed parallel until the right where it became more trapezoid shaped. Upon the desk sat a computer, its monitor light glowing a dull orange. Above Alex, a fan spun rapidly blowing the hot air onto his head. His bangs flapped carelessly and itched his face. Faint streetlights came in from his window. The curtains masked the sharpness of them, leaving only peaceful stray beams. Alex grunted as he got up and proceeded to his bathroom. He filled a small green plastic cup with water and began drinking. Most of it ran down his chin to his neck and onto his chest. As he set the glass down with a sigh, bits of his dream came back to him. He shook his head, lightly padded his cheeks, and plodded to his dresser. The cheap wood creaked as he pulled out the top drawer. Might as well go for a jog and stuff. A simple remedy, working out always seemed to ease his stress. Once his athletic attire was adorned, Alex yawned to his apartment doorway, automatically undoing all the locks, then doing them again once he was outside. Once outside the apartment complex, he let out a soft "Hwah" and began jogging.

Alex closed his door and looked at his watch. 4:48. He had some time. He spent the next twenty minutes doing push-ups, sit-ups, and stretching. At 5:11, he took a shower. He finished and got dried off at 5:19. Proceeding to his closet, Alex put on his boxers, black socks, black dress pants, a white dress shirt, a suit jacket, and black dress shoes. He didn't like the tie so he always put it on before he had to leave. He sat on his bed. He didn't have a tv. The only thing he would watch is the news, but that was always the same. He knew exactly what it would tell him each time he sat to watch it. "Those pagan magicians have put up a strong defensive, but our armies will crush them! Glory to to the Stanthans!" It was always the same...until now. Now he wanted a tv, so he could here the news reporters..."Finally....it is over. Tonight we shall have peace. A peace where Stanthans and Florenthians can live together." Alex smiled. It was over. He looked at his watch. 5:32. He was running late. He took off his jacket, first attached his shoulder holster with his StingR 5-9 handgun then put on his tie. It was only a clip-on. How silly. He put his jacket on, and left. He needed to meet Genevieve. Alex unlocked his Gregor compact utility vehicle and threw himself in the drivers seat. With a loud gearing sound, it started, and he left towards the Consul's mansion. Although he tried to think of his dream as a side effect of his constant fighting in the war, every way it represented was a bad omen. Alex let out an exasperated sigh and continued driving. "s**t..."
