What I posted in the Guide To Fish Happiness Thread today at 6:46 am.
I've had my first fish death today. Only one of my starter goldfish have died, and it is the one with slightly lower health. (There was a weird glitch one day where one of the goldfish didn't gain its 4 happiness points and the other did.)

I haven't kept any data on my tank for my mule account, but both of my starter goldfish died yesterday and that was 24 hours after I put two cuttlefish in the tank. I also have no decorations in that tank and the tank health is much lower than it is on my main tank. I started that tank at least a week after I started my main one.
Also, I know that I only have educated guesses for the start dates of those fish, but Sept 24th was the latest day it possibly could have been - as I already had a tank before the whole weird glitch thing where they said our fish didn't age that one day.
I knew that happiness/health in the tank was supposed to increase the life of your fish, but I think is definitely proof of it working. Hope this is helpful.
