Never Be Mine


I think about you all the time
But I know that you will never be mine.
I think about you day and night
You are in my sight through the night.

You are one of my really good friends
But I want more than that in the end.
I have come to love you through the years
But in the night, and in my fears.

I know that through the years
If I was in danger
You would be there to rescue me.
But through the years nothings changed.

I've loved you through day and night
And even with the morning light.
I cry for you all the time
