I am thinking of giving advice to my friend who is having terrible times with her spiritual conscious, as well as physical. I want to ask her to turn to religion, since its always helped me. But I don't want to offend her in any way.

I know she told me, she doesn't need a religion, that her faith is god and angels. I respect that, but I wonder if she chose a specific culture she can turn to for enlightenment. I did once remember she leans on a Shinto, matter. But, I doubt there are any gatherings for that in California. I am just wondering, would that offend someone if you told them it might help to turn to religion?
I don't know what else to suggest, imagine if I suggested a counselor, now she would really get mad. I just hope she doesn't give up on her life, there is still much more to discover. I may live in Europe, but I am sure she has someone to talk to for when I am not there.
I feel guilty, for getting close with her. She gotten attached, and then I suddenly had to leave...other plans. I blame myself, for being that effect. Yet, she assured me I have done nothing.
What should I do? How would you, consult a friend in need?

Ah, well I seen her journal entry update, and after reading it I really do want her to take part in some kind of a productive group. Not sure if reccomending religon will be good for her, she never did like the idea of going to a building just for worship. She already believes in god , and yup lol she loves angels.
Trust me, I know her all my life.
I think you will just make her a bit on edge with that.
Just how about talking things out?
