I am a cosplayer. I understand that my purpose in playing my characters is to share my love of my fandoms. I will do my best to make the cosplaying community the best it can be and to ensure that others have favorable experiences in the community. I will maintain my characters but will not get too serious. I will make sure that if I ever badmouth someone, they understand that I am acting in character and probably do not mean it. I will do my best to discourage practices such as Fanwhenching, Flaming, Baiting, and excluding newbies from the community because they reflect badly on other cosplayers. I understand that I do not have a monopoly on my fandoms and will encourage and assist new members of the cosplay community.
I will act by this creed until the day I die or so help me.
