A perfect day. No clouds on the deep blue sky. The golden sun was shining its warm rays on the land.
Rei was taking a stroll in a forest, just for fun. Little did he know, this stroll was bound to make him question the things he called memories.
Being a weretiger, Rei was a quite powerful creature. When angered, one could say he could take on on someone from the Brood. There was no way he'd do it; after all, he used to live with Ryu and Teepo, even if he couldn't remember it.
Eventually reaching the spot where the cage where Ryu used to be in, he'd first just glare it. "Hmph... People should clean these things up..." Right after finishing his sentence, Rei would feel a stinging pain inside his head. Grabbing his head, the man would just fall on the ground, doing his best not to shout. Certainly it was painful to recover memories erased by a self-proclaimed goddess, Myria.
After a short while of painful memory-recovering, Rei would once again stand up, blinking. In his mind, he had an image of a blue-haired, smiling boy. Ryu. "...who did I just remember...? Why can't I remember his name?" Muttering to himself, Rei just shook his head, lifting his gaze up to the skies. "Even though I can't remember your name for now, I know you're someone I proudly call as my friend."
Rei eventually left the place, heading to the remainings of Teepo, Ryu and his old cottage. It was burned down many, many years ago, but Rei was sure he was bound to find something from there. And right he was, after a while of searching he'd find a burned photograph of him, Ryu and Teepo.
They all were smiling in the picture. Everyone's faces though were burned quite badly, you couldn't make much out of it. Yet still, the burned photo was enough to make Rei remember the name of the boy. "Ryu. You're... Ryu."
