because they are really ******** weird.


Let me begin with this: So far I have experienced dreams with all five senses. I dream in color, sound, taste, smell, and touch. And last night for the first time I felt pain in my dream.

The first time I remember realizing I dreamed in color was in a dream where everything was a shade of gold (or olive, I guess, but a yellowish olive). I don't remember what the dream was about... it had something to do with a mine. I had dreamed in color before that (such as when I was younger I actually induced a mushroom-themed dream after watching the Super Mario Bros Super Show over and over and over again)

The best example (or the clearest) of my dreaming in sound happened last night, where in my dream I experienced a shrill high-pitched loud noise. This is what also caused the pain.

I don't really have a definitive example for smell, but it kind of goes along with taste. I know it's happened before. Also, my taste and touch examples are one dream, where I dreamed I was having sex. Don't ask me what I ate for dinner that night. Seriously, if I knew, I'd eat it every day for the rest of my life if it kept inducing dreams like that. But yeah, I guess that means I dream in pleasure too. And pain.

But it scares me the most that I dream in pain. Because then it means I'm not safe even when I'm asleep in bed.
