Jaice's eyes widened as they went solid white for a few seconds. His muscles under his uniform bulged. Lightning crackled around him for several seconds. Tsunade's eyes widened. His chakra levels were rising rapidly. He jumped straight upwards, going high into the air. She stifled a gasp. Her eyes widened as did his. "Okay, what the heck is happening to me?" she heard him shout. Ino's eyes were narrowed against the gale of wind his passage upwards had created. Tsunade glanced back to see groups of Genin and Jonin fighting the same soldiers Ino's group and the strangers had taken apart. They'd overwhelmed the Gate guards from a distance with what she'd assumed were bows. Jaice's eyes narrowed as he dropped quickly. His landing beside her caused the roof's shingles to crack and the roof itself creaked.
"We have to help the others," Jaice said in a calm voice. Tsunade nodded. "Hokage, we have to use the strangers' help to take them down. From what I figure, they have experience fighting these soldiers, and the soldiers seem to be weak against explosive tags and kunais," he reported. Tsunade nodded. He pulled out a pair of kunais and what seemed to be a crystal marble. "I don't know what this is, but it seems to increase my chakra's strength and force," he said softly. The guy Jaice had nearly attacked had jumped onto the roof's edge. Sage had noticed the armor crystal. "How did you find that armor crystal, kid?" he asked. "It was in a bush," Jaice replied, with a sigh. The kanji for strength, 'chikara', sparked on his forehead in a deep silver. Sage's eyes widened slightly. "Try focusing the energy of your mind in the crystal to know it's identity," he advised. Jaice's eyes fixed on the crystal. It's midnight blue depths shimmered. "Armor of Chaos, Dao Jei!!" he whispered. Energy burst around him as it formed into the same odd midnight blue and silver armor Kenrai had seen earlier.
Tsunade stepped back as she sensed the same increase in chakra as Kenrai had sensed.
