Did you know, that after a while, a heart in pain slowly finds ease?
Wall of defense around feelings, nothing in truly genuine to this person anymore.
Moving about soullessly, the only thing they fear is another.
Another to come along and tear down their walls. Curiosity kills.
And that person loses what they had made of themselves, who they are.
Who they were starts to rise back to the surface, pushing through their head.
That person undergoes a change like no other, pain is so surreal.
It aches along every nerve of their body, past being brought up.
Bubbling to the surface of their soul. And as their nature, they try to lock it up.
Because that's what they always did before.
But instead of the pain being silenced, it continues to ache under their skin.
Any memory resulting in tears, and tragedy extensively painful.
It takes a while for that person to figure out what's wrong with them.
Why they're getting so morose, so empty.
That's why the loveless stay loveless.
Feelings they cannot handle. They overwhelm. They kill.
