**This is fast, and crappy. 8D I seriously can't write worth sh*t.

Four hundred years ago, a war raged among the lands. Towns and villages slaughtered each other for their right to own land. High in the lost mountains, was one of the strongest and most secretive armies of all. This was commanded by Azukaru Himitsu, the head general who had multiple armies scattered throughout enemy territory. He had everything he needed; money, slaves, an army of men who respected him and a beautiful wife. When Hokori, his first son was born he rejoiced to know that his army would have his own flesh and blood to join; and to one day perhaps rule the army as well. However, things changed six years after his son was born. He also became a father of a daughter. Enraged that he wasn’t able to have two boys to take over in the army, he tried to kill the girl. His wife, Yuna forbid him to. Giving in to his wife, he allowed the girl to live, but he refused to let her be a part of his name. Seven years later, and the girl still was forbidden to have a name. Hokori felt bad that his own sister wasn’t a part of their family. Everyday he’d spend time in secrecy with her, along with a friend of his, Tamashii. They’d play everyday with one another off in the streams by the village.

A few years passed, and the girl confronted her father explaining that she wanted to help with the war. Her father was embarrassed that she had even suggested this, and laughed at her. His beliefs were that women were only put on the Earth for men to be born. Times came that his daughter disobeyed his wishes and practiced fighting techniques with the boys; most of which were much older than her. With her dedication to prove to her father she was equally as good as any of the boys, she was able to beat almost all of them. Hokori was proud that his sister had so much determination and so much strength. Azukaru however, was furious now. After being beaten for months for trying to prove to him that she could help, Yuna finally had enough. She confronted Azukaru about how he had other duties then just a general. Frustrated, enraged and embarrassed that his dream of having a perfect life was turning, he murdered Yuna. The daughter witnessing the whole thing. When he realized what he had done, Azukaru walked off back to his men to assign them with their new duties. The girl rushed over to her mother- one of the only people who cared for her since she was born. As Yuna gasped for her life, she whispered to her daughter, “Farewell, my sweet Namida …” and took her last breath of life. The girl stared at her mother’s face and recited the lines in her head over and over. She decided that from that day forth, no matter what her father said, that she would be “Himitsu Namida”*.

A few months after their mother’s death, Hokori and Namida along with Tamashii wandered off into the deep and deserted part of the forest. They quickly learned that it was deserted for a reason. All around them were many species of sick animals. In their attempts to escape, a panther cornered them. It lunged at Hokori, but Tamashii leapt in front of him and was bitten by the panther on his shoulder. Hokori tried to get the panther off, but was ambushed by a wolf. It snapped his leg and dragged him to the ground. Tamashii was lucky that the panther had taken its last bite before dying. He laid there in pain as Namida tried to get the wolf off her brother. It released its grip on Hokori’s leg and snatched her hand in its powerful jaws. It stared at her for a moment before finally falling to the ground and compulsion to its death. Tamashii and Namida rushed Hokori out of the danger and back to a safe spot.

After their father found out he banished both his children from his house. Tamashii’s father, allowed them to stay with him, he admired how much strength the children had. Four years later, Tamashii’s father failed to return from his mission he had been sent on 6 months earlier. After Namida overheard her father talking to another warrior about hos Tamashii’s father was killed by him, she confronted him again. She was furious that her father had killed two people who actually cared for her from her life. She smiled and stepped out from the shadows mumbling “I tried everything to please you. Cut my hair, slept out in the cold, went through years of abuse…and you still treat me like s**t. I cried tears of blood for you for Fourteen painful years for nothing. But now, you’ll cry them for me.” She took out the same weapon used in her mothers murder and stabbed her father. Hokori and Tamashii came by as Azukaru bled to death. Hokori rushed to his blood stained sister, and embraced her. He was glad she had finally rid their lives, and children to come of his evil.

Hokori, Tamashii and Namida left the village after that to insure their lives would be better. Three years passed, and a strange disease had killed off the people of the village.

Four-hundred years later and they still live, looking in their early-late 20’s. The bites from the wolf and panther had altered their DNA. The can change into the animal that bit them anytime they want; but on full-moons they are forced into the forms. The DNA also effected their aging. For every 25 years that pass, they age physically only one.
