Strange Dream
The Adventure Begins

In time of great darkness we search for the light or does the light search for us. There are many things that end up making us believe that we are searching for the light but actually the light is searching for us. Do you actually believe that there is truly good and evil? Or are they just different intensions entirely. What if there just wrong doings that is done unintentionally. Let me tell you a story where we can decide if the light searched for us or we search for it.

There are two kids that was named Lee and Lynn. Lee and Lynn were twins. They both had blond hair. They live in the town named Water’s Path. Lynn was very smart and cunning. Lee was very strong and fast. Lee was very muscular for a boy of 14 years. They both had ice blue eyes and slightly pointed ears. Lee was popular and Lynn was not. Lee was very protective of Lynn and if he heard someone make fun of her he would come to her defense. They work together to get their chores done. Lynn helps with the homework and dishes while Lee helps with garbage and cleaning their room. Lee likes to play sports while Lynn likes to read books. They both like to play video games.

“Lynn hurry up it is almost time for dinner,” Lee said.

Lynn and Lee was on their way home from school. They went to Little Lake Middle School. Little Lake Middle School was like any other public school. It had several class rooms and a cafeteria. It was a Friday afternoon and school just had let out. Lee was running ahead of his sister.

“Lee slow down. Why must you run ahead of me? Can’t we just walk home?” asked Lynn. They were almost to their house. Their house was pure white and had a black door to let people know it was different than the others, “Look we’re almost home I hope we’re not late for dinner. Now lets run for it!”

They ran up the steps to their door and opened the door. “Mom we’re home!” they both yelled.

“I’m in the kitchen, why don’t you go wash up, dinner is almost ready!” their mom said. The two went upstairs to wash their hands. The children went into their room to throw their backpacks on their beds.

“Dinner is ready!” their mom called. They ran down the steps and sat down at the table, and ate chili spaghetti.

That night there was a loud bang. They both sat up and found that their window was broken. Standing by the window was a tall, slender figure. Lee ran and turn on the light.

“Who and what are you?” inquired Lee.

“Lee she is an elf, but I don’t know who she is,” replied Lynn.

“Lee, Lynn I need your help,” said the elf.

“How do you know our names and who are you?” wondered Lee.

“I am Farina Dragonfly and I know everything about you. My queen have been watching you since you were born.” answered the elf.

“Why do you need our help Farina?” asked Lynn.

It took awhile for Farina to answer like it was hard for her to say, “My home is in danger and you two are the only ones that can help,” she finally said.

Lee said, “I’m in what about you sis?”

“I will help in any way possible Farina,” Lynn told them.

“Alright then we need you two to get dressed and pack for we do not know how long will it take to save my home,” Farina said. Lee went to check on his mom and then got in the bathroom to change his clothes. When he got back Lynn was already dressed.

“Mom is still asleep it seems that nothing can wake her up,” informed Lee. They got out their back packs and took out their papers and put in a ton of clothing, tooth brushes, tooth paste, Band-Aids, sleeping bags, and their picture of their father. Their father died in a war before they were born. Their mother didn’t tell them much about him. She didn’t tell them where was at or what the war about. She gave them the picture of their father.

“Farina where are we going and how are we going to get there?” asked Lee.

“We’re going to Lameria and we are going to use a dimensional rift,” answered Farina.

“Is that how you got here Farina?” wondered Lynn.

“Yes Lynn but we have to use another one because the one I used is closed,” Farina informed them, “It is not to far away so don’t worry, about two blocks away.”

“That is where our school is at, so we are going to school at night, sweet,” Lee told Farina.

“Shall we go now or are we waiting for Christmas,” Lynn said sarcastically.

They tip-toed out of their room and toward the door. Before they left they had put a note on the door of their mom’s room. Lynn slowly turned the knob and open the door wide enough to get though. Lee, Lynn, and Farina made a break for it. They ran until they were at the school. “Farina where is the portal?” wondered Lynn.

“It is at the play ground,” replied Farina. They briskly walk around the school to the playground and saw the portal.

“There it is!” exclaimed Lee.

They then walked through the portal and saw a beautiful landscape. The trees were in bloom in blue and pink. The flowers were yellow, violet, red, orange, pink, and blue. The mountains were gray and the hills were rainbow color. “It is breath taking, I can barely believe there is any thing wrong here,” stated Lynn, “What is the problem?”

“Well the problem is that there is someone destroying the landscape,” Farina told Lynn, “ They are also destroying my home and possibly others homes.”

While they were walking Lynn asked, “Will you tell us more about yourself, Farina?”

“Yes I will, Lynn. Lets see I am 30 years old”

“Wow your 30 I thought you were 14!” exclaimed Lee.

“You flatter me,” Farina said blushing, “Now where was I, oh yes now I remember. I live in Calder, my parents are dead, I have no brother or sister, I am a vegetarian, I love nature, and I am strong in my fighting ability & magic that is why my queen sent me to get you two, she believes that you two can help us save our world and possibly yours as well,” Farina enlightened them.

“I am sorry about your parents, our father is also dead,” Lynn confirmed.

“ So it was the queen who told you everything about us, and I don’t know anything about saving the world, we’re just middle schoolers,” Lee reminded her.

“Lee you can do anything if you put your mind to it,” Lynn declared.

“Lee she is right you know,” Farina agreed.

“Will we ever meet the queen?” Lynn wondered.

“All in good time, Lynn.” Farina said.

“Can you tell us her name, Farina?” asked Lee.

“I think you should know her name. She is called Queen Binky. Queen Binky is a kind and just queen and she knows what is the right thing to do. If she believes in you than I shall as well,” Farina explained to them both. They walked until night came then set up camp.

“Farina where are we going to?” Lee asked as soon as they were done with dinner.

“We are going to meet some friends of yours but you probably don’t remember them, you two was very little when you meet them,” Farina stated quickly, “Now it is time for sleep we have a long day ahead of us.” After she said that they unrolled their sleeping bags, and they fell into a deep slumber.

Meeting Two Friends and One Enemy

The next morning they packed their things up and started on their way. “Are we going to any towns soon?” Lee inquired.

“No we are actually going into a forest called Lana,” Farina answered.

I wonder who our long lost friends are, Lee thought to himself, well I will find out when I meet them. They fallowed Farina until they came upon Lana.

“Lana means great barrier because hardly anyone can get through unless they are humans, elves, pixies, dragons only because they can change their size, and hippogriffs & griffins (because they can come in through the air),” Farina explained to them.

“So how many creatures are actually are in this world?” Lee wondered.

“Too many to count,” Farina answered.

I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen, Lynn thought to herself.

They wandered into the forest until they came to a clearing. Farina, Lee, and Lynn turned around when they heard a snap of a twig. They saw a thin figure come out of the ground like a tree that was rapidly growing.

“It is the evil one!” Farina exclaimed then she turned to them and said worriedly, “Lee and Lynn go and hide cause you two don’t have a weapon and are not ready to face him yet.” Lee and Lynn ran and hid behind two trees that was close by so that they could hear and see every thing.

“Liam why are you here?” Farina asked quickly. Liam was not very tall and he always hated the other creatures that had stronger abilities than his own, no one knows why he dislikes them but they all know that he wanted to destroy them.

“I am here to hopefully get you to join me and help me get rid of all the creatures and make my dream become real, your highness,” Liam said coolly.

The children whispered, “Your highness?!”

“You know very well that I won’t join you! Farina screamed at him.

“Then I would just have to kill you before you can stop me,” Liam told her calmly, “To bad too, I was hoping you would help me willingly. Oh well I would have to make the kids join me all by my lonesome.” Liam raised his hand and said a spell under his breath so they wouldn’t be able to hear it. Out of his hand came a fireball the size of a bolder. Lynn then jumped in front of Farina and yelled, “Lana!” Then a barrier formed around her and Farina and the fireball bounced off and landed on a bolder.

“Obviously you got to them before I did, too bad they don’t know anything about their past they would’ve been a great ally but now they are only a good rival. Bye-Bye for now little ones we will meet again,” Liam said and then vanish with a loud snap.

Lee then ran to them and exclaimed, “Farina you got some explaining to do!”

“Yes Lee, I do got some explaining to do. I am sorry that you two found out this way but I am the queen off this world. I didn’t want to tell you until later but he didn’t know you were here and blurted it out any way,” Farina said guiltily with her head hung low.

“Why didn’t you tell us who you truly were, Farina?” Lynn asked intuitively.

“I didn’t want you to call me your highness or protect me when you can’t without dieing,” Farina explained.
“Okay I have another question for you. Why didn’t tell us anything about ourselves,” this time Lee asked this question.

“Well I kind of not allowed to tell you because you have to awaken yourselves I can only help in that process,” Farina said hastily. Lee and Lynn did not argue with that. I can’t wait until they find out about their past, Farina told herself.

I wonder about my new found ability and why does she know more than what we believe she is telling us, Lynn asked herself than asked out loud, “Um Farina, what did I use back there?”

“Oh you used magic and I bet after this you would be able to use it in your world like your father,” Farina said like it was obvious.

Magic! How could I use magic when I am human, the more Lynn thought about it the more bewilder she became.

“Can you tell us about our father Farina, please tell us,” Lee asked gently.

“Well I think it would be alright if I tell you about your father. Your father is from this world that we are in. His name was Lazar. He is an elf like I am except I am a queen. Lazar was friends with your mother. She use to come through the portal that was at the playground. They would meet at these woods to talk and play games. Well one thing lead to another and they fell in love with each other. After college your mother and father got married and moved into your world. Then your parents had you two and that’s when the war happened and in that war he died,” Farina finally said.

Before they could talk anymore the earth began to rumble. “Do you get earth quakes here?” Lee asked with fright in his voice.

“Some times we do but this is not one of them. I believe that it is a dragon because I know the difference between an earth quake and a dragon walking, you will find out the difference between them soon enough,” Farina answered, “We better run and hide now before it finds us.” They all ran and hid behind something the only one that didn’t run was Lynn because she didn’t have time before it stuck its head around the trees. The dragon was the color of the moon and its eyes were the same color as the body. It scales shone so brightly in the visible light. It would normally be the size of a hill.

“Lynn run now!” Lee exclaimed. The dragon stretched its head out and sniffed her and she giggled. The dragon then licked her. Oh great the dragon is tasting her, Lee told himself.

“Roslyn?” Lynn asked the dragon. She is remembering faster than her brother, that is very strange, Farina told herself.

Roslyn then made a strange sound, it was like the mixture of a belly rumbling and a growl Lynn then realized that she was laughing. “Lynn, I haven’t seen you since you were an infant. How are you?”

“Everything is all right. I am doing great in school,” Lynn said to Roslyn then she turned and yelled to Farina and Lee, “You guys can come out now she won’t hurt you!” Lee was the first one to come out then Farina. When Farina came out she was shaking like she was cold.

“What is the matter Farina?” Lee wondered.

“ Something happened when I was young that involved a dragon so now I am afraid of them,” She said with a stutter.

“Well Farina she won’t harm you and there is no reason to be afraid of her. Roslyn only wants to help us on our quest,” Lynn explained quickly. The dragon nodded hastily.

“Okay I will not be nervous around you. If Lynn can trust you so can I,” she told the dragon.

“Lynn would you like a ride, you can see the whole forest from up in the air?” Roslyn inquired.

“ That would be great, Roslyn.” Lynn then jumped on to Roslyn’s back and they soared into the air. Lynn looked down and saw the wonderful Lana woods. “Um can I ask you a question?”

“ Yeah ask me anything you like,” Roslyn turned her head so she could hear Lynn better.

“How can I use magic when I am only human?” Lynn was looking over Roslyn’s shoulder to look at the woods.

Roslyn then started laughing at what was asked and Lynn started to bounce up and down, “Your only half human. Always remember that your father was elven. You and your brother will be trained in weaponry and magic.”

“Where are we going to after we get out of the forest?” as she said that Roslyn pointed to a beautiful, well built, tall city. “What is the name of that city?”

“That city is called Celia. That is where you are going to be trained in weaponry and magic,” then Roslyn started to dive back down to where they took off.

When they landed Farina said, “Shall we get going now there is still some one waiting for Lee.”

Roslyn then hand Lynn a pendant, “Don’t ever take it off okay.”

“Okay I won’t take it off, thank you, Roslyn,” Lynn then put on the pendant. Farina then shook her head and stated that they should get going.

I wonder who is waiting for me. Oh well I would just have to wait and find out now wouldn’t I. Lee stated to himself. They walked deeper into the woods.

When they heard a flapping sound they all stop and looked up to see what it was. “What is that?” Lee asked.

“That is a hippogriff.” As Farina said that a magnificent half eagle, half horse creature landed in front of them. The eagle part of it had a golden tint to it. The horse part of the beast was a pinto. The hippogriff had blue eyes and seemed very strong. As you glance into the creature’s eyes you feel the presence of an eternity of knowledge. The presence of the beast is very intimidating by the way it is standing, like it is staring you down to the very depths of you soul.

“Who dares to step into my territory?” the hippogriff asked powerfully.

“It is I, Queen Farina, the chosen children born of their world son and daughter of Lazar and Lily, and the dragon called Roslyn,” answered Farina. The hippogriff then took a step forward to get a better view of the children.

“Lee is that you?” the hippogriff asked with calmness in his voice.

“Yes it is I, Alasandero,” Lee answered calmly.

“I haven’t seen you since you were but a babe, how are you?” Alasandero wondered.

“I am fine and you?” replied Lee.

“You have grown quite strong since then. Do you remember anything about your past?” Alasandero inquired.

“Not much, all that I remember so far is you that is all.” Lee responded.

“Shall we get going to the city now?” Lynn inquired.

“How did you know where we were going?” Farina asked with wonder in her voice.

Lynn laughed then said, “Roslyn pointed it out to me.” Then Lynn told them about the conversation Roslyn and she had.

“Then let us get going. We are heading to Celia,” Farina stated.

Farina, Lee, Lynn, Roslyn, and Alasandero wandered through the forest until they were able to see all of the sky. They could see it was evening.

“It is time for us to rest. After dinner I suggest we turn in early,” Roslyn said quickly. Everyone agreed with her. They hastily unpacked their things and ate dinner. Before the children went to bed Roslyn and Alasandero went to the kids.

“Come with us,” Alasandero and Roslyn said together. Lee and Lynn followed them close to the woods.

“What is it?” the children asked together.

“ Do you still have the pendant on?”

“Yes Roslyn I never take it off why do ask that?” Lynn wondered. Roslyn then gave a long sigh.

“Good because that pendant will protect you from basically anything except death itself. The pendant will also heal you if you get hurt.”

“That is neat.”

“Lee I have something for you.”

“What is it Alasandero?” Lee asked gently. After Alasandero pulled out a beautiful rapier out of nowhere.

“This sword will help you in up coming battles,” replied Alasandero.

“This sword is so beautiful, I don’t know who would get anything on it,” Lee then turned to his sister and said, “Lynn take a look at this!”

“Lee there is a hippogriff on the hilt of this sword!”

“Lynn there is a dragon on your pendant. Why is there a dragon on Lynn’s pendant and there is a hippogriff on my sword?” Lee inquired Roslyn and Alasandero.

“The dragon on her pendant means that she is guarded by a dragon. Dragons are strong in magical abilities. The hippogriff on your sword means great inner strength. The hippogriff is strong in physical abilities,” Alasandero stated.

Roslyn then added, “Your father had these items when he first saved our world and yours as well. He didn’t have these items with him when he went into the war because he told us to give it to you two when the time comes.”

“He knew that you two were destined to save this world. He knew that the same thing that happened twenty years ago would happen again,” Alasandero said quickly.

“So history does repeats itself,” Lynn said after what was told went through her head.

That night Lynn and Lynn kept on waking up through the night. The more I find out about dad the less I truly know, Lynn thought to herself.

What can we do? Why don’t we know about our past? Why do I Feel so unsecured? Will any of this make sense? Lee asked himself, I will ask them tomorrow.

Soon they will start their training. I hope it all wasn’t for nothing, Farina thought to herself.

I bet the children have many questions. We will just have to answer them the best we can. Lazar why did you have to die? The children need you. Oh how I wish you were here right now, Roslyn thought with a tear in her eye.

Lee is getting so much stronger. Lazar, they both have your eyes. Lynn knows some magic and Lee has your old sword. They miss you very much Lazar, Alasandero thought.

The next morning they all heard a snap off a twig. Then Lynn, Lee, Farina, Roslyn, and Alasandero turn towards the woods and saw a dark figure step out.

“Liam,” they all said at once.

“Oh this is good I can destroy a dragon and a hippogriff all in one shot.”

“You can try Liam but you won’t be able to,” Lynn said as she stepped forward.

After Lynn stepped forward Lee stepped forward and said, “I may not know magic but I can use a sword.” Liam then started to laugh. His laugh was very high pitched they all had to hold their ears closed.

“Lee you are so much like your father.”

“Do not talk about our father!” Lynn yelled, “Celia!” A water ball came from her hands and hit Liam before he could put a protective shield on. “I guess Celia means water.”

“Yes Lynn,” Farina said.

“You haven’t seen the last of me!”

“Just shut up before I cut out your tongue!” Lee hollered. Liam disappeared.

“He doesn’t know when to quite, does he?”

“He is an idiot, Lee,” Alasandero said.

“You two are pretty good,” Roslyn told Lee and Lynn.

“You both do not have very much training in magic or fighting, but you can handle Liam all by yourselves.”

“Farina we are the chosen ones,” Lee and Lynn said together.

“You two learn quickly don’t you,” Alasandero said.

“Can we have breakfast now, Farina,” Lynn asked gently.

Everyone said, “Yes!” Farina started cooking blueberries that came from the forest. Lee got out the dishes they needed. Roslyn went to look for pigs. Lynn started to pick up the bedding and Lee went fishing for lunch. Alasandero went to fill up canteens. After all of them ate they cleaned the dishes in the lake and went towards Celia.

Celia

It was noon when they made it to Celia. “Farina who will be teaching us to use magic and weaponry?” Lee asked hastily.

“You both will have different teachers and would be learning different things. The grand council of Celia will decide who your teachers would be by your personality.”

“Oh,” Lynn said miserably.

“What is the matter, Lynn?”

“I thought we were going to be taught together, Roslyn.”

“Hey sis cheer up at least you won’t see me all day!” Then Lynn started to laugh. Her laugh was sweet and gentle. They started to walk towards the city when they saw some one run out of it. It was a young boy around 14. He had a axe in is hands, full plate male, and a silver helm on. He had blue eyes and he was very plump. He was also very fast.

“Farina, am I ever glad to see you!” exclaimed the young man.

“What is the problem Kyle?”

“It is the Hyena gang again!”

“Oh dear!”

“Who is the Hyena gang?” Lee asked.

“They are one of the most powerful gangs in all of Celia,” answered Kyle.

“We got to stop them from doing whatever they are doing.”

“That is like you Lee always going into a battle without thinking,” Lynn said, “Alright we better go stop them from wrecking the place. How are we going to stop them?” “With the help of your abilities.” Roslyn replied.

“Great we are trusting the life of all of Celia in the hands of two young kids,” Kyle said with fright in his voice.

“I’ll let you know that they faced Liam all by their lonesome.”

“They went up against Liam?”

“If it came from your lovely lips then it has to be true.”

“Are you hitting on Farina, Kyle?” Roslyn wondered.

“No. No I am not hitting on Farina,” Kyle said.

“Stop teasing him,” Lynn said.

“Lynn has a crush on Kyle!” teased Lee.

“Lee I do not have a crush on Kyle,” Lynn said with a blush on her cheeks. When Kyle looked Lynn in the face he got red in the face as well.

“Don’t tease anyone, we got a job to do so come on,” Farina said strictly.

“Yes Farina,” Lee and Lynn said shamefully.

They walked into the city. The streets were in chaos and disarray. All the doors were off their hinges, windows shattered, people running every where, and blood is everywhere.

“Celia is usually clam and collected,” Kyle stated, “But since the gang arrived it has been chaotic.”

“When did they arrive?” Farina asked worriedly.

“Three days ago,” Kyle answered with sorrow in his voice. Kyle then looked towards the ground.

“Kyle it wasn’t your fault that you couldn’t stop them,” Lynn said sweetly.

“Thank you Lynn.”

“Does anyone know where to find this gang?” Lee wondered. Everyone turned and took a quick look at the five.

A woman ran up to Farina and said, “My queen you are back! Oh how glad am I to see you your highness!”

“Report Binky,” farina said gently.

“They killed our best men,” Binky said with a tear in her eye.

“It is okay Binky, we are here to help,” Lynn told her.

“Are these two the chosen ones, Farina?” wondered Binky.

“Yes.”

“Okay what do we do to stop them from killing everyone?” Binky quickly asked.

“These two here is going to use what they know to stop the gang,” Farina answered.

“And how are we going to do that? Lee does not know how to use a sword and I don’t know much magic,” Lynn explained.

“You will be able to do it. Your abilities is beyond even the strongest elf,” Farina insured them. After Farina said that Binky ran off.

All of a sudden a tall, thin figure came out of an ally. The figure was a boy. The boy had brown curly hair. He had blue eyes, and was very muscular. His clothes had a lot of holes in it.

“Well well look who is here. Your highness it is surely a surprise,” the boy said.

“Billy I thought you went straight,” Roslyn said.

“Ha ha I will never be a goodie goodie like you guys,” Billy stated.

“Too bad I was going to let your gang be official body guards of us while we are on the road.” Lynn said sweetly.

“Well I guess I can help a lovely girl like you. Your name is?”

“My name is Lynn and by brother is Lee.”

“I can’t stop my gang for I am not the leader but I will help you in anyway possible,” Billy said gently.

“If they want to fight they may try.”

“They may come any time, Lee.”

“Let they come Billy, let them come,” Farina said.

“Farina I never thought you could be this mean.”

“Lynn, some times you have to be unpleasant to others who are just malicious.”

A bunch of kids came out of the ally and withdrew out their weapons. Lee yanked out his rapier, Billy got out his club, Lynn got ready to cast magic, Farina jerked out her rapier, Roslyn revealed her teeth, and Alasandero ruffled his feathers.

“Hey guys they look like they want to fight us,” a boy said.

“Hey Billy what are you doing with that bunch of idiots?” a lovely lassie demanded.

“Well they looked like they needed help and that is what I am doing and they are not idiots,” Billy said defensively.

“Well if you asked me I say they are idiots if they chose to stand in our way!” snapped the boy that was in the lead, “I thought you pledged to be with us not with these fools.”

“He is the fool not us,” Lynn whispered. Hey hands glowed to the color of a fiery golden sun.

“It seems that we made the little girly angry,” the leader said snotty.

“No one calls my sister little girly got me.” Lee then gripped his sword’s hilt tighter.

“We offended the little boy. We will deal with him so he won’t ever again be offended,” the leader laughed.

“Are you going to keep on talking or would you rather fight us?” Lynn said angrily.

Right then a girl ran out and yelled, “You never talk to our leader like that!”

“You never talk to Lynn like that,” Billy said as he stroked at the girl and she yelped.

“Finally the battle begins,” Lee said as another person ran towards them and he flogged the person but instead of hitting the person’s side he was blocked by another person. Lee then got hit on the shoulder by the person that was going to be hit.

Lynn hollered, “Celia Lana!” and a big bubble grew around her and her friends. Each time the gang attacked the bubble hit them harder and harder.

“What is this? How come we aren’t able to strike them but they are able to strike us?” the leader shouted.

“It is called magic. She is using a spell that can hit you when you hit it,” Farina hollered back to him.

“Everyone fall back! Let us leave this town for now!” he called back to his crew. Then the whole gang ran away from there.

“Run away chickens!” Lee hollered after them.

“We will need a place to stay for awhile,” Farina said peacefully.

“There is a nice inn around that will be perfect for all of you,” Billy said kindly.

“Can you take us to the inn?” Lynn asked melodically, “We will be very grateful.”

“I possibly can take you to the inn,” Billy finally said after thinking about it, “Yeah I can help. So why are you guys here in Celia?”

“We got to find teachers to teach us to use magic and weaponry,” Lee said gruffly.

“Do you mind if I hang around with you guys at least til you leave?”

“No not at all Billy,” Farina said considerately.

“To the inn then my friends.” They then set off to the inn.

When they got to the in they saw a sign that said, “Close due to illness.”

“Where are we going to stay now that the inn is closed?” Lynn asked quietly.

“Why don’t you stay at the fanciest inn in Celia, the Keynote?” Billy asked nicely.

“We want to stay low and since the Keynote is a richly kind of place only were famous people stay we will attract attention.”

“You guys can stay with me and ma,” Billy suggested.

“That could work but won’t your ma ask why we need to stay with you?” Lynn asked delicately.

“No she lets people stay for free if they don’t have the money for the inn,” declared Billy.

“What do you two think?” Farina wondered.

“My only question is how is Roslyn and Alasandero going to fit into a house?” Lee asked.

“I can change my size as big as a hill and as small as a tea cup,’ answered Roslyn. And to prove that she could she shrank herself to the size of a tea cup.

“I could change my size and appearance,” Alasandero said, he then changed himself into a pug puppy and back again.

“Well then it is settled, we will stay with you and your mom,” Farina said.

“Follow me and I will show you my domain,” Billy said. He then turned into an alleyway. Farina, Lee, Lynn, Roslyn, and Alasandero ran after him. They ran through many alleyways and finally came in front of a large building.

“You live here?” Lynn asked.

“You two better change before we go in there,” Farina said hastily. Roslyn quickly changed her size as small as a tea cup. Lynn then put her in her pocket. Alasandero turned into a pug puppy and found a piece of string to have tied around his neck.

Lee tied the string around Alasandero’s neck and asked, “Are we ready to go in?”

“Ready as we ever going to be,” Farina said and she led them into Billy’s home.

When they walked in Lynn gasped at the room. In the entrance they saw a Victorian table that was on the left wall, an oak coat rack that held a coat, and a huge round mirror. There was many doors painted many colors from blue to black that led to other parts of the house. There were stairs that led to upstairs and to the basement. “Ma I am home and I brought some guests,” yelled Billy.

Lynn whispered to Roslyn, “You aught to have a look at this place. It is to beautiful to describe.”

Before Roslyn could reply to what Lynn said they heard a gentle voice say, “Well don’t stand there come in. I am in the room towards the left.”

When they entered the room they saw a golden yellow, fluffy couch, a really old maple wood table that held a blue, hourglass shaped vase that had a bouquet of blue flowers, with rose shaped petals, and it had a yellow aura around them, in it, the curtains were the same color as the flowers. The floor was oak wood and the walls had a mural of black mustangs galloping in a field of tulips. There was also many pictures in wooden picture frames and oak bookcases.

Turning to leave Billy said, “I am going outside mom.” His mom nodded as he left.

“I love these blue flowers, what are they called?” Lynn inquired.

“They are Lilyblooms and are only found in the mountains,” Billy’s ma said sweetly., “I am Alisa Farium and I am glad you like my flowers most of my guest just think they just smell good and that is all but they have great healing abilities.”

“Oh I have heard of these magnificent flowers!” Farina exclaimed, “Mrs. Farium can I talk to you in private?”

“Why yes Farina you can talk to me.” After that they both left the room.

Lynn took Roslyn out of her pocket and set her on the floor. Lynn then took a closer look at the bookcases. There was titles like ‘Our wild and crazy world’ and ‘What you should do if you found yourself in the human realm’ and other books that she couldn’t read the titles of. The pictures showed of Billy and his mom at the top of a mountain surrounded by wild Lilyblooms. All of a sudden the door swung and stepped in was to pixies deep in a conversation.

“Now while we are out of our kingdom you should call me Jen not your highness or Princess Midnight Blossom you got me Jeremy,” said the female pixie. She had her long white hair in a ponytail and even then it was halfway down her back. Her eyes were stormy blue. Her dragonfly wings were sunshine yellow with a little crown at the bottom of her left wing. Her gown was sky blue. She carried a scimitar at her waist and had a quiver full of arrows, that had owl feathers on them, slung across her back. Her bow was in her hand it was made out of a strange type of wood that none of the children has seen before.

“Yes Jen but why do you want to keep our true selves hidden?” the male pixie said. His brown hair was ear length. His eyes were hazel. His wings were a baby blue. His armor was of emerald and had a crest of a midnight flower in bloom. His sword was a long sword. His quiver was full of arrows that had red hawk on them. His bow that was in his hands was made out of the same material as the females.

“Because I don’t want some people know that I am here.”

Before Jeremy could answer Lynn walked towards Jen, “Why don’t you want some people know you are here madam”

“I don’t want them to know is because they could kill me and mess up everything my father has worked for by the way who are you? “ Jen had asked as Lee walked towards them.

“I am Lynn daughter of Lazar and Lily sister to Lee friend to Roslyn and Farina.”

“And I am Lee son of Lazar and Lily brother to Lynn friend of Alasandero and Farina.”

“You can’t mean the mighty warrior and savior Lazar. The one who fell in love with a human girl. One of the great Goddess and left our two worlds when she needed him again. That Lazar that brought the pixies and elves together and made an ever lasting bond between us.”

“Wow our dad did all that and still had the time to spend with mom?” Lynn was shocked and Lee just smiled.

“Yes! That means you two are the twins of the prophecy!” Jen was greatly excited by the news but it seems her friend or escort fainted. “Oh dear we better get him on the sofa. Will you two help me.”

Lynn and Lee helped Jen put Jeremy on the sofa. Jen pulled out a rag and a pouch of water out of her bag and poured the water on the rag. She put the rag on his forehead, “He should wake up in an hour or so.”

“I can’t believe Farina held back some information about father,” said Lynn with her head in her hands. Her brother put his hand on her shoulder and gently put her on the floor.

“I do not think she meant to do or if she meant to she probably had a good reason to. It is okay Lynn.” Turning to Jen he said, “ So you are a princess. So that means Jeremy is your escort. I bet it is cool not having to do much of anything.”

“Well I am high princess Midnight Blossom nature pixie and heir to the throne but it is not all fun and games it is hard work. I go on missions and stuff for my father. There is a council meeting today about who is going to be your two teachers. I have to go on behalf of my father. I think you two have to be there as well.”

Farina sauntered back into the parlor and saw Jen, “Midnight! How is your dad?”

Jen giggled, “He is fine and how are you doing, Farina?”

“Well enough. I thought the council meeting is next week.”

“Ugh,” Jeremy started to sit up but Lynn gently pushed him back down telling him to rest. Jen looked at him worriedly.

Not taking her eyes off of Jeremy, Jen responded, “Nope three days from now is when the meeting is taking place.”

Lee asked, “Do we have a room?”

Billy strolled in to the parlor and responded, “Of course you do!”

They went into their rooms after they ate a huge meal consisting of many different foods. All of them fell into a deep slumber as soon as they got to the bed. All night long Lynn and Lee tossed and turned to really bad dreams. Their dreams consist on one person fighting with guards and leaving a castle. The man was their father.

Council

The morning was bright and sunny as they walked into the parlor. Everyone they met in the past week or so was there. Everyone seemed to be relax and happy. It was like Liam didn’t exist at all. Like their home was not disappearing. Everything was fine and dandy and there was no worries. It was like they all was on summer vacation or something.

Everyone seemed to be comfortable in the space. The landlady and her son was sitting on the couch talking to each other, the royalty were standing in the corner chatting excitingly like two little school girls gossiping, Roslyn was sitting on the maple table drinking milk out of a china saucer, and Alasandero was still in pug form running between everyone’s conversations and putting his two cents in. Everything seemed peaceful and calm but in everyone’s eyes there was worry and fear.

Roslyn turned to the twins. “Good morning sleepy heads.”

The twins said together, “ Good morning everyone.”

Everyone turned their heads and nodded towards them then went back to what they were doing. Lee took a seat on the oak floor. Lynn started to look through the books on the bookshelves. She choose a book titled “A day in the human world.”

Lynn walked back toward her brother and sat down. Lynn started to open it when the book was snatched from her hands. Lynn looked up to see Jen standing over her with the book in her hands flipping through it.

Not even looking at Lynn she gently said, “I didn’t think you could read elvish writing.”

“I can’t.”

“Anyways I don’t think you guys should be cooped up all day.”

Farina walked up and asked, “Then what should they do? They can not go out on their own.”

“Well Lynn would need to get a weapon because no one is able to just rely on magic alone. It will take up to much energy. So why don’t I show them around town a bit. I hear there is a festival going on. After we get Lynn a weapon we can go there,” Jen suggested, “ That is only if they want to go.”
