Bio: Ina was born in London and raised by her father, who was a mechanic for OZ. After learning of OZ & Romefeller's plans to take over the world, he defected, stealing a secret project and secreting Ina away with the help of the London Underground*. He was caught and executed, but Ina dyed her hair and stayed hidden behind the male alias Arik, top mechanic for the underground. Arik, however, is never seen by his customers because he is always "busy." Her second, Gear, handles matters for Arik instead. With the initialisation of Operation Meteor, Ina has allied herself with the Gundam pilots against OZ and Romefeller.
*=not the subway system, though the name is the same because of this to better disguise the group; society of smugglers and other law-breakers in London dealing in MS and their parts, among other things

Bio: Born into the upper class of London, Ina sought to avoid an arranged marriage. Remembering her uncle had once corresponded with a swordsman from Japan, she fled east to seek the help of his daughter, Kamiya Kaoru. Able only to speak Japanese, not read it, Ina hires a porter and guide to take her to the Kamiya dojo. Kaoru, recognising the name of Ina's uncle, welcomes her with open arms and refuses to allow her to pay rent. Instead, Ina manages the household, watching the dojo when the others are out, greeting guests and often cooking (to the men's delight).
