A boy named Kyo was playing his video games one cold winter night, sister and brother were sleeping. Kyos mother made cookies happily while they talked about school and random things.
" I can't wait till brake... " Sighed Kyo " Its geting so hard and just think next year I'll be in 11th grade "
" It wont be to hard if you study and do your home work " His mother said calmly.
" But I- " There was a knock at the door " I got it mom " Kyo mumbled standing up.
" Carfull, all the robbers runnin' around this christmas... " His mother said softly, alittle bit of fear in her voice.
Kyo, slightly in fear but not showing it went out of the living room and to the door.
" H-hello?! " Kyo called. " Whos out there?! "
He got no response.
" Im going to ask one last time, whos out there?! " He grabed an umbrella and waited but still got no response.
" Thats it! " He unlocked the door and pulled it open quickly ready to strike, but to his surpize found only a young girl in the snow.
" Gah! " He shouted and yelled for his mother.
" Drink this " Kyos mother said, handing the girl some hot chocolate.
The girl, confused looked up at her then took a sip.
Kyo, pretending not to care just keep playing his video games.
The girl was pale with fairly short black hair and deep blue eyes. she wore a long white shirt that was riped slightly and covered in dirt, watching her dirt covered face.
Kyo wondered her story but ignored his curiousity.
" So what are you doing around here? " Asked Kyos mother, who went back to making cookies.
Sadly to her surpize, the girl on shruged and mumbled somthing that no one could here. Kyo hearing her voice slightly blushed, how cute it was! He fell off the cliff on his game so many times the girl got curious.
Puting down her hot chocolate she crawled over and watched him, he saw her out of the cornor of his eye.
" Eh? " He looked at her tilting his head, she looked back and tilted hers.
He chuckled but tryed to mask it in a fake cough.
" You must be hungry and tired. " His mother said, walking over and looking down at the girl.
The girl nodded happily.
" I'll help you get washed up I supose, after that I'll cook you somthing. " The girl stood up and the mother took her to the wash room.
Later kyo was on the couch watching tv when the girl stumbled out and rubbed her eyes sleepily.
" Carfull back there. " Kyo mumbled, watching her again from the cornor of his eye.
His mother came out smiling and took left overs from the fridge.
" I hope you dont mind left overs heated up... " His mother smiled but the girl just nodded and smiled to with a small blush.
When the food was done the girl ate quickly, drinking abunch of water and spilling it all down her shirt.
" Oh my... " Kyos mother said wide eyed.
Kyo, peeking over the couch watched her.
" I guess... shes an orphan... " Kyo thought to himself, then fell backwards onto the couch with a yawn.
That was the end of his day.
