killer chestnuts
I think it's all the fuzz about twilight right now that made me into dreaming up killer chestnuts. These extraordinary chestnuts, when tossed into the ground will grow into mole like creatures; size and appearance of a chestnut with a back that looks like "lao lin" skin. Their nature is that they will burrow into the ground as soon as it hits the soil. As it matures into the mole-like form(which happens almost instantly) it seeks out the slightest scent of blood and surprisingly the scent of sex (I don't know why either but the lady scientist who seem to know so much about them in my dream said so; maybe it's because people are into kinky stuff that makes their partner bleed so as time past, these killer chestnuts associated blood with sex). Like most sci-fi horror flicks, the chestnuts will attach itself to a human body and lay eggs into it. The host of course dies which brings food for the new hatchlings as they are born. One example that I saw(in the dream) was an AfroAmer guy(sorry I don't intend to be racist in my dreams rolleyes ) for some reasons buried alive neck down in the ground. A mysterious person in a dark stripe suit and sunglasses reached in a small paper bag and grabbed a few chestnuts. He threw them to the ground and they instantly burrowed into the ground. Like a seed that had sprouted, appendages and the spiney back covering grew out it's chestnut shell. As soon as their transmutation was complete, they dashed towards the buried man in the soil and laid eggs in him. I suppose that these chestnuts have tremendous strength as well because the man was dragged into the ground completely after they were done. Days maybe weeks past and the rotten corpse (somehow retaining most of its fat; i would best describe the corpse as pale blue skin with bruises, eyes rolled back, and abrasions all over) pops out of the ground and from the skin comes these buds that will hatch into... ... ... (dun dun DUN) chestnuts rofl
